Clean, comfortable
Overall this is a cozy basement apartment. The owner lives upstairs but we had no contact other than text messages, as there is a separate driveway and entrance. The only change would be lighting in the living/kitchen area. It seemed a little impersonal having office type fluorescent lights, but that is my opinion.

The attention is in the warm, surprising details.
Kathy is one of the most communicative and accommodating hosts we've experienced. I do not want to spoil your surprises, but I will say she also has info for near dining, hiking, ozark experiences, maps, books...which we took with us on our adventures there! So helpful. The VRBO and yard is more spacious and beautiful than photos show. A must stay!

Great experience!
The accommodations that Kathy provided were fantastic! She was quick to reply if I had any questions and was extremely accommodating. When I first came to the apartment, she had set out two small loaves of bread from a bakery, coffee for the Keurig machine, tea, and extra toiletries. I stayed here for a week on my fieldwork experience, and the apartment was very quiet, cozy, and easily accessible. I highly recommend staying with Kathy if visiting Harrison, AR!

Almost home
During the last week of remodeling our new home we rented the cozy little getaway on Windsor Drive and enjoyed our time there in comfort. Kathy is a great host that is easy to communicate with and provided us a great week’s stay. There were fresh flowers, fresh fruit, a variety of Kuerig coffees to choose from as well as a bottle of grape juice to enjoy. She touched base during our stay to see if there was anything else we needed. Highly recommend.

Thankful for Such a Great Stay
We were so thankful we were able to extend our stay. We continue to wait for our house to be finished. Kathy has been a wonderful hostess. She is friendly and easy to talk to. She even shared a jar of her homemade jelly. The vrbo is perfect for our needs. The grill and patio were used often.

The accommodations are fabulous. The day we traveled was long and tiring but when we entered the Little Italy we felt so loved and pampered. Just what we needed. There were fresh flowers, special coffee bar, and bread from our favorite local restaurant. We are forever thankful we were able to rent for another month as we wait completion of our new home.

My Stay In Harrison
While I had hoped for a cabin close to the Buffalo River, Kathy Steele's apt offered the most pleasant surprise!! She must have known I love Pinot Noir wine as the decor had a wine flavor! And so does my daughter who was with me! Kathy appraised me of where we could locate getting a canoe close to where we were staying for floating the Buffalo. And more than anything...it was peacefully quiet for the two night we stayed in her apt and I had the BEST two nights of deathly quiet sleep in quite some time!! We loved the little apt that offered an oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, washer/dryer and a sweet little black kitty that came to visit me while having my coffee in the morning outside on the porch! OH....one more thing....my daughter lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and hasn't seen a firefly in years! She & I enjoyed sitting outside on the porch at Kathy's apt and just watched the fire flies for a few hours both nights! For peace and quiet with all the right accommodations....visit Kathy Steeles apt in Harrison, AR!!

Fantastic experience at an adorable place!
One of the best efficiency apartments I've ever stayed in. Everything was super clean and the apartment is conveniently located in the middle of town. The kitchen has enough basic equipment for cooking meals. Though it is part of a larger home, it has a private entrance, so it feels like a private space. The yard and private patio are fantastic for enjoying outdoor time. The hostess was communicative and responsive. I would recommend this location to anyone, and I look forward to staying here again.
