  • Stay comfortably in Harrison at this 3-bedroom house. The bedrooms feature 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 bunk bed, ensuring a superb night's sleep for all guests. Newly renovated 1911 home in Harrison. Amazing view of the lake, large deck and patio, and very close to town. The house was renovated with the intention of being budget friendly, so please keep this in mind. Refinished 1911 hardwood floors, refinished original deck, even the original sink was painted and reinstalled. Lots of character but some issues such as the bathroom sink drains slowly, and the water pressure in the shower isn't the best. Perfect for families looking to enjoy Lake CDA!

Asked about early check in and it was approved and confirmed several times, even the morning of the reservation. Arrived one hour early with the house unclean. Dirty linens on the floor, house smelled as a bug bomb. There was an apology that the cleaner forgot to clean but should have been a discount of some sort. House is very old and quite over priced. I would not stay here again.

The view was very nice. The home reeks of a smell similar to moth balls. It’s very strong. The ground around the outdoor fire pit is not level and not safe. I do not recommend this home to rent.

While I understand this house was a “budget” find, I didn’t realize exactly how budget it was. It had an extremely foul oder of formaldehyde and moth balls, mouse traps in the kitchen cupboards where the dishes are stored, and last but certainly not least, the bedroom with bunk beds had spiders IN THE BED. We found three spiders in our bed/crawling on us and several more crawling around the bedroom, living room, and bathtub. This was more like renting a cabin, not a house. The mouse traps in the kitchen made us not want to use it or eat in there, the smell made it hard to be inside, and the spiders made us wishing we’d brought our sleeping bags to sleep outside. With a $150 cleaning fee, I expected more. The coffee pot had used old grounds left in it and your socks turned brown if you wore them around the house without shoes. As long as you are cool with mice traps in your dishes cupboards, spiders in your bed, and the small of formaldehyde, you’ll be fine here.

Stinky and filthy

It stunk so bad and it was dirty. Wiring sticking out of the wall heater, the font of it had the coils exposed and another one was falling off the wall. There was water damage under the kitchen sink and also look like there could be mold. The sink in the bathroom doesn’t drain well so there is a paper telling you use it sparingly. The water is hook up backwards on the shower so they wrote it with are sharply on the shower wall. The house around it are falling apart and are like hoarders . The was very nice and did refund or stay, but I wouldn’t stay that house until it was repaired.
