Our stay was enjoyable. Walking distance to the lower town to visit all of the historical district, restaurants and shops. Very close to The Barn for nightlife. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend the stay here.
The property was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. Perfect place for a couple enjoying a long weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
Great stay at the Harper’s Ferry guest house! One of our best VRBO experiences. Goldfinch room was lovely and the host communication was timely and very helpful. Would absolutely stay again and enthusiastically recommend!
The room was exactly as described- clean and comfortable with a great breakfast nook stocked with coffee, juice, and yogurt. Less than half a mile to the beginning of the Maryland Heights trailhead and close to places to eat (the Rabbit Hole is a great place to end your day and one of the only places open after 8pm). I will definitely stay here again!
The room was very nice, clean cool and spacious. Quiet, too. Very comfortable bed. Check-in was totally automated, and the communication from the owner was timely and efficient.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Goldfinch and are looking forward to visiting again sometime! The property was clean, had off street parking, and was located close enough to Lower Harper’s Ferry that we could walk to eat, shop, and enjoy the historic area of the park. We were also able to walk to hiking trails.
We were thankful for the light breakfast and water bottles left by the host. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quaint getaway.
We loved how clean and neat it was. So nicely and thoughtfully decorated. It was so nice to have little snacks and drinks in the fridge already and just no detail was overlooked!
This was our second stay at this location and it did not disappoint. The owner was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. The room was lovely and stocked with everything you could need and more. Bottled water, coffee pods, yogurt, juice, snack bars, trail mix and cereal. More than you’d get at any hotel but with much better accommodations. Off-street parking is a plus! I would give them more than 5 stars if that was possible. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️
We booked this stay hoping to be able to walk wherever we needed to go and this location didn’t disappoint. Great location, very clean, off street parking, friendly host. We walked all over and never needed a car. The room was as described and exceeded our expectations. There was even a Keurig in the room with coffee pods, sugar and creamer. The host even provided cereal, milk, snack bars and yogurt. The mini fridge even had ice provided for us. No detail was left undone. Would def recommend and stay here again if in town. Thank you for a great stay.
Very nice room with a comfortable bed. Location was very peaceful. Check-in and communication was easy, on site parking was nice and it was close to a lot that Harper’s Ferry has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was so beautiful and cozy. Excellent hosts! I could not recommend this place enough. It was walkable to lower town, but just know the walk back up is strenuous. We were also so close to DC and Baltimore for more adventures!
Comfortable and well appointed room! Easy access to town and trails (National Park, Appalachian Trail - AT visitor center is just across the street) helpful digital guidebook from hosts helped us plan a weekend with some of everything! Recommend!
Easy walk to many shoos and restaurants as well as the Harpers Ferry National Park. It's maybe a half a mile in one direction for a shops and a quarter mile in the other direction for shops. Very convenient good host would go back again
Everything was perfect! Beautiful and CLEAN room; peaceful and quiet. Within walking distance of lower town, restaurants, and shops. We recommend the ghost tour!
