Feel fully immersed in Harpers Ferry's fascinating history while you relax in your comfortable, one-bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Ideally located in the 2nd oldest building in town, you'll be just steps from the world-renowned attractions of Lower Town Harpers Ferry

Easy access if you're biking the C&O Canal. The Harpers Ferry train station is just across the street. A 2-minute walk brings you to the scenic confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers as well as Harpers Ferry National Park and John Browns Fort.

On-site parking is complimentary for our guests!

All guests must be age 8 or older.

IMPORTANT: The Harpers Ferry train station is just across the street and trains pass by day AND night. Many guests tell us that's one of the things they love about the place, but it can be loud. It's also a very old building and you will hear noise from adjacent apartments. If the noise will bother you, please do not book this property.

There is a security camera overlooking the parking area.

PLEASE NOTE: We kindly request that guests sign our "Potomac Adventure" rental agreement within 72 hrs of booking. We'll send an email with the link to our agreement as soon as you finalize your reservation.

Great location

We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. As a historic building there is no central heat but a few more space heaters would be great. Also the shower did not get very hot so that could be addressed. Overall a great time. Thanks to the hosts for preserving this beautiful building!
