"We stayed for three nights and wished it was longer! This home sits right on the edge of Lake Alder. Occasional boats and fisherman come and go, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We brought paddle boards to use, and also used one of the ones supplied by the owner. The home worked well for three of us. The kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, AC worked well during the hot days. Early mornings on the covered deck, enjoying the view and reading and a good cup of coffee…..perfect!"

"We had an amazing stay at Mineral schoolhouse. My adult siblings with families of their own all fit in the very sizeable rooms comfortably with plenty of room and interesting things to keep us entertained and active. We played pickleball in the gym, enjoyed a stage performance put on by the kids, played bingo, watched tv in the family room, played "school", walked to the lake, pretended to be lunch ladies, rang the school classes bell, sent their parents to the principal's office, etc. So much fun and was such an interesting venue for us. Everyone wants to book again!! Super close to Mt Rainier park, hiking, and EZ time horseback riding that we also enjoyed."
