"Helena was the best host I have ever dealt with! Very friendly and responded quickly. The house was huge and was decorated absolutely beautifully. The pics don't do it all of the justice it deserves. It was perfect for my large family.However, we did encounter many large water bugs inside of the house at night and many many spiders outside at the porch areas. This caused us to choose not to use the hot tub. Insects were cautioned in the listing but we were not prepared for the amount.Overall it was a good vacation rental."

"Lake side cabin with a pontoon. Great location, very quiet with birdsong. Some deer wandered past on our last morning. All the amenities you need to stay comfortably and short drive to shops for groceries. With large suitcases stairs could be an issue but we managed fine. Very good washer and drier if you are mid trip! Great hosts!"

"The Sweetwater property was an amazing experience overall. The communication prior to our stay was excellent and flexible to meet our travel needs coming from 10 plus hours away with a 5 year old to make sure our trip was seamless! We spent the entire 6 days at the home on the dock and in the water feeling that we never needed to leave to fulfill the expectations of our 1st vacation of the summer. I’d recommend the Sweetwater property to anyone, you will not be disappointed!"

Charming & Spacious Waterfront Log Cabin with Central Location to Everything!

"This is an amazing property managed by wonderful hosts! The setting is peaceful and relaxing, the house is very comfortable and spacious for 10 adults, the furnishings are modern and attractive, and it is fully equipped with everything needed plus some fun extras. It is in a great location, close to everything we needed - the airport, Carowinds, Walmart, and water activities. Communication with the hosts was smooth and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy, and the large screened-in back porch was the perfect place for our full family to reconnect for the first time in years. We picked this house more or less at random, but from the moment we drove up the long, tree-shaded driveway, we knew we had hit the jackpot. We recommend this location with the highest possible rating."

"1. False advertising of the property site, property resort amenities, and property units. Furthermore, it is extremely unclear when making the reservation what your unit will look like as the photos contain multiple variations of the kitchen, bedrooms, porch, etc. for the individual unit. 2. The property pool is not being renovated or under construction - this is a very dangerous area that has pipes and wires exposed, and is being used as a dumping ground for trash and pieces of wood 3. Multiple warning and unsafe signs on the property distributed by the Fire Marshall. These areas on the property were completely unsafe and unusable 4. Exposed wires in multiple locations throughout the property 5. Outdoor fireplace unusable as it was broken and no access to propane 6. Property grill unusable and disgusting 7. Property chairs unusable and broken 8. Trash scattered across the entire property - specifically scattered around the outdoor lawn space, boat docks, outside units, and overflowing trash cans 9. Unit doors, specifically for Unit 17, do not fully close - showcased very clearly in the photos attached 10. Several stains within the unit - specifically on the couch, across the floor, and coated on 1 of the kitchen chairs. Additionally, the 2 outdoor chairs are covered in spiderwebs and bird poop 11. Communal space overgrown and unusable"

"We had another wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The house was spotless, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the beds were so comfortable. There was plenty of room for our whole group to spread out and relax. We especially loved spending time on the brand new deck and enjoyed using the paddle boards out on the lake.This was our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last! Adam was fantastic with communication from start to finish, and the welcome treats were such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing lake getaway. Thanks again, Adam!"

"We had a wonderful stay May 23-26 at the Chatlet on Lake Wylie in Belmont, NC. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Vrbo photos did not do this property justice. The home is even more beautiful in person—spacious, well-maintained, and perfectly situated with stunning lake views that made our family gathering feel extra special.The layout worked great for our group, offering plenty of room to relax, connect, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We especially appreciated how clean and thoughtfully arranged everything was, which made settling in effortless.The only minor drawback was that the patio cushions were wet and had mildew from the rain, so we weren’t able to fully use the outdoor seating areas as planned. It would have been nice to take full advantage of the patios, given the gorgeous setting.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely consider staying here again. It’s a beautiful property in a great location, ideal for families looking to spend quality time together by the lake."
