The property was beautiful and well maintained. The cabin was cozy and very clean. The location was close to every thing. The host was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year.
Nice cozy vacation spot for our family of 4. Private area with everything we needed for our ski trip to nubs nob. Owner was great with communication and kitchen was stocked with all necessities. Will stay here again for our next trip.
We drove up from Cincinnati to go skiing and loved staying here! It’s lovely, well-maintained, and a great amount of space for our two teens, two adults, and our chocolate lab.
We loved staying in this adorable house. Check in was easy, everything was clean, and the location can’t be beat. Fall colors were beautiful. We would love to stay again!
Wonderful private cabin in a great location! Cabin is close to Harbor Springs and not a far drive from Petoskey. The property the cabin is on is lovely with many trees and beautiful flowers. We saw several deer and even a family of turkeys near the house. Cabin is a close drive to Petoskey State Park which has a nice beach area and is great for hiking. The cabin is off a a quiet dirt road that is also great for long walks. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental property to others.
Close to town, but secluded enough so you won't be bothered. Trails, hiking, lakes nearby - but town is a short drive away.
Loved sitting on the front and back porches relaxing. Never saw anyone else besides cars driving by on the main road.
Nice getaway.
We had a wonderful time in this cozy log cabin with loads of vintage charm and all the conveniences of modern life. The property itself is beautifully constructed and is kept extremely clean. It's set on a large lush lot with large old trees in abundance. The location was perfect - just far enough from Harbor Springs for absolute silence at night yet close enough to run in for coffee or pastry from Johan's for breakfast. The owner was quick to respond to any question and we wanted for nothing while there. We have been vacationing in Harbor Springs for over 3 decades always in a rental home. We would go back to this one in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great vacation.
We rented the cabin over the New Year Holiday. It is adorable. Wood everywhere. Was very clean, and checkin was easy. The cabin is well located with short drives to Harbor Springs or ski areas. Beautiful fireplace. Downside, front room is drafty and having a wood supply or space heater (cabin with beautiful fireplace with seasoned wood should not need) would have helped. Utensils in kitchen need upgrading (eg sharp knives for cutting/chopping, larger cutting board). Seasonal roads through the woods are at your doorstep for hiking, running etc. We spent 100 on firewood and matches to make it comfortable. Awesome location that needs owner attention to detail for 5 stars.
We had a wonderful vacation while staying at this cabin. The property is secluded, but still off of a main road, with a lovely open yard that our dog just adored. The cabin was perfectly clean, with any amenities we needed readily available, and the fresh cut flowers in the vases added a lovely, welcoming touch. The windows provide a fantastic breeze on summer days, and the upstairs loft bedroom was so peaceful to sleep in. There was a fan available to use if it got warmer. When we weren't exploring the area, we were able to use the fully stock (with essentials) kitchen to make our lunches and snacks (a friendly grocery store is about 15 min away with anything you need) and our coffees for the morning. The bathroom was absolutely spotless and all of the fluffy towels were fresh and clean. Both bedrooms had amazingly comfy beds, pillows, and linens. While we preferred to sleep upstairs, the downstairs bedroom provided a nice quiet napping area. The two chairs in the living room by the fireplace were a wonderful place to lounge after walking around all day. I imagine if we visited in the fall, the fireplace would have been amazing as well. Michael was extra responsive and clear with check in instructions, and checking in with us while we stayed to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would love to stay at the rental again in the future!
We love the cabin and location! Our dog is very happy there especially on long walks in the woods behind the cabin.Harbor Springs is charming and really close.
It is a great little cabin that is meticulously maintained. There is a long wooded trail behind it that we walked every day with our dog. The location is close to beaches, hikes and Harbor Springs. We loved it!!
We had a great time here at this Cozy Harbor Springs cabin. Everything was as described in the listing. The property is absolutely beautiful, well kept and the cabin is clean and lovely. Mike communicated well and was accessible throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin! Great location to Harbor Springs/Petoskey and Good Hart/Cross Village. Looking forward to staying here again
Comfortable and clean cabin in an excellent location! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we loved the cabin. The property is beautiful and the cabin itself was immaculate and very comfortable for the 2 of us. The location is also a great jumping off point to explore different areas. It’s a less than 10 minutes to harbor springs and an easy drive to both Petoskey and Wilderness state parks. Also close to the tunnel of trees scenic drive which is beyond beautiful. Mike was an excellent host and we would not hesitate to return.
We loved your adorable house and the well kept lawns. It is a beautiful property. It has a well-stocked kitchen. Would have liked a dish drainer of some sort for washed dishes. A few Keurig coffee pods would have been nice. The location worked for us since we went to town and to where my daughter was staying on Lower Shore Drive. But wish we could have walked to town. All-in-all it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Louise & Ferd Grauer
