Perfect place for skiing

We enjoyed a long weekend at this property. We were 13 minutes from Nubs Knob ski hill which was great. There were many options for dining out with a short drive. The house was spacious and very clean. Maria was very good with communication.

A great family retreat space

This was our second stay here and I'm sure it won't be the last. The house was extremely comfortable for our large group. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked most of our meals. The floor plan offers a great room for the family but also some quiet spaces. And we loved being able to bring our dogs along for the fun. Great location for both Harbor Springs and Petoskey.

Peaceful retreat

This is our second stay on Round lake and first in this house. We love the area and the calmness of the lake. The house was very roomy and had plenty of space. The views from the deck were the best greeting each morning. Maria, the property manager was extremely responsive to the few questions we had which was really helpful.

Great place for group with teens

We were 3 families with teenagers and this house was perfect!!!! Kids fished and swam. We were able to launch our kayaks and paddle boards from the shore. So beautiful. Four min drive to cute market and Petoskey State park. House is really beautiful with lots of space. Host was very responsive to few issues we had. We hope to stay here again!

Friends getaway

We were a group of 8 friends having a girl’s getaway. The house was beautiful and spacious and perfect for us! We only cooked breakfast, but it was stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better! We visited Harbor Springs, Petosky and Mackinac Island. Round Lake was clear and refreshing. Maria was very friendly and the communication was amazing! I highly recommend!

12 person stay SUCCESS

My siblings and I brought our spouses and children - totaling 6 adults and 6 kids. We were more than comfortable with the space we had (we put 5 kids in the “bonus room” and ended up bringing an air mattress, only because we wanted the kids to all be together while the baby was in the bunk room). It’s a beautiful calm lake and near some fun Petosky attractions. This was our second time staying here; Maria is great to work with. I’d recommend this property!

Annual Family Vacation

This is our third year in this house which once again proved perfect for our family vacation. Wonderful lake, spacious house, some great restaurants nearby, plenty of food stores nearby, everything we needed for meal preparations, bedding, etc.; and plenty of room to "hide" if you needed some alone time. We will be back in 2025. Our Property Manager, Maria, has been so responsive to our every need, and a pleasure to work with for the third year in a row! Thanks Maria!

Family gathering

The home and location are beautiful. Large first floor open floor plan ideal for our family gathering. We had 12 family members stay in the home, there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, 3 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bathroom, beautiful main floor with gas fireplace, large table and large kitchen area. Gorgeous view of the lake from the main living space. The host was very kind and timely in her responses to all my questions. The home was clean and in good shape, only some stains on carpet, which the host informed us of prior to our stay. Excellent property.

Location delightful, house badly in need of care

The location and quietness of the property were delightful. The house is in need of much care. It had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, sinks were clogged and you had to find one that worked, none of the tv remotes had batteries in them so we had to go buy some, the door of the main bedroom was falling off its hinges and couldn't be used, the garbage disposal button stuck and I had to figure out where to unplug it to turn it off, garbage from several weeks was in the garage and the smell was in the back section of the house.(we talked the garbage guy into letting us bring out the extra bags since they didn't fit into any can), and many more similar items had issues. None of these things made us dislike our vacation, but we did have to do much work ourselves to make various aspects of the stay work. We've not encountered this before. This house needs someone in charge to stay in in and really see what needs fixing.

Family Vacation

Our family is a family of 8 adults, 4 children (5-9), and 3 dogs ranging from 50-100 lbs. Usually, most properties will only allow you to bring two dogs and some of them require the dogs to be 50lbs or less. Finding a property that accommodates the dogs is our biggest hurdle. We found this property and emailed the owner about our situation. She was extremely accommodating and allowed us to bring the three dogs no problem. The house is as described and was very spacious for our family. It was nice having 3 1/2 baths and laundry rooms on both floors. The kitchen was well furnished and we had everything we needed. My only suggestion in the kitchen would be to purchase a new coffee pot. It was rather slow brewing and we made multiple pots a day. The backyard was also spacious and we spent most of our time out there. The play set, beach, and the bonfire pit was a big hit with the kids. The water is shallow well pass the dock which made it easy for the kids and dogs to get in and out with ease. We fished and the kids all caught their very first fish. Petoskey state park was a few minute drive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there at the beach and walking the trails. We also visited downtown Petoskey and Mackinac Island which is a short drive from the house. Plenty of store and gas stations nearby to buy necessities. The location of the house was perfect for visiting all the up north destinations. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was great

Wonderful family getaway

Amazing vacation home on Round Lake!

We rented for Memorial Day weekend and the home was perfect for our needs. Spacious and comfortable layout inside with a perfect back porch/patio facing the water. Loved the sandy beach area for the kids and discovered a bonus outdoor play set/swings/slide! Great for our family getaway!

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the house! There were eleven of us, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Being right on the water was fun, with my grandson fishing (caught a few small bluegill) and swimming. We also appreciated the washing machine and number of bathrooms. There are a few good bike trails nearby. I would recommend bringing games in case it rains or for evening hours.

Overall, this rental was amazing! There was enough space for our large family. The views were the best. Location was perfect. There even was a geese family that greeted us in the mornings! Just watch out for the poop!A couple of notes, I would either add extra bath towels or let people know to bring their own as well as beach towels. All of the mattresses could use an upgrade. They are useable but every person woke up stiff. We would definitely stay here again!
