The breakfast is excellent. Expensive though. Staffs at front desk are helpful and knowledgeable. Staffs in the dining room are good and professional. Foods are wonderful. Satisfied.
The location is very convenient. Close to train/subway stations and many tourist attractions. The staff are very professional and helpful. I have to mention Mr. Dragon Tan for his great service during breakfast time. My mom and I really appreciate it.
The female receptionist @front desk n the male staff are nice n friendly, and easily reached the spots of sightseeing. I used to stay @5-star-hotel there. This one is your another option if so!! Many thx.
Well recieved upon checked in and was allocated an upgraded room on the 11 floor with view of the railway station. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to metro. Not much in the surrounding area.
Good points
1. Closed Harbin station 5min. by walk
2. Closed Substation 3min. by walk
3. Closed centre of the city within 10min. by walk
4. Clean the room and facilities are new
Point not so good
1. Too warm in room
I didn't use air-condition even though the wall heating system itself is too warm, no blanket and open window in the night.
We only stayed here for 2 nights arriving very late before moving on to our next destination via train, by design and for that it was fine. Cabs are really cheap so we were able to use them to get to the shopping area etc. Nearby tho there is very little but a short but steep walk will get you to some local stuff. Good restaurant across street (ask front desk) but due to road barriers you have to walk pretty far and back to get to it or walk under a sketchy path under the major road. Room was good and spacious, staff was helpful and it is walkable to train station with luggage but takes some per-planning to avoid stairs. International terminal tip! We were warned by airport staff :) to take the free large shuttle bus from the really old international terminal to the domestic terminal to avoid "taxi" scams who hassle you as you emerge and they ask (extort) for more money halfway. There we had a good ride with a friendly driver in a decent city cab. Its pretty far away.
Located next to the train station and close to the Central street (Zhongyang Street). Makes it easy to go for a walk to explore the city or to find great food. This hotel is a gem.
