"Valley View Motel is a great little "get away." It's rustic, it's clean, it's quiet. If you're looking for state of the art, top of line everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple little cabin, friendly check in, not many people around and just a place to relax, read, write, or watch an old movie on a small TV, then it's a great place. I come here to unplug and I feel refreshed after a night or two and am a little sad when I leave."

"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated."

"Super location and clean home. It was overcast the weekend we were there, but the views of birds and the water were still lovely! Easy check-in process and very responsive and kind property manager. A well stocked kitchen for cooking if you decide to do that. The only thing that we missed were blinds in one of the bedrooms. An easy fix! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!! :)"
