Our reservation said reception would be available until 8 p.m. We arrived at 5 p.m. The door was locked and no reception. There was a number on the door to call but it did not connect. If not for another guest who happened to be going in I don't know how we would have gotten in. Our key was on the desk with no directions. We couldn't find our room. Our good Samaritan made some calls and we finally got to our room. The room was very nice and clean, the breakfast good. Because of the lack of reception I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel suite was spacious but old fashioned. No cleaning or bed making done, the lift worked intermittently which was a bother as I walk with a bad leg.

Schönes Hotel mit viel Luft nach oben

Zuerst das Gute: Der Empfang war freundlich, Check-in schnell erledigt (nach Online Check-in), Zimmer (Suite) schön, groß und sauber, sehr bequemes Bett. Frühstück war sehr gut, schöne Auswahl und nette Bedienung. Negativ war: Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war schlecht, es fehlten Tassen, Gläser, so ziemlich alles an Besteck, von anderen Küchenutensilien ganz zu schweigen. Auf Nachfrage wurde immerhin alles besorgt, aber bis man alles bemerkte, musste man mehrmals fragen. Auch Handtücher fürs Kind (3. Person) mussten nachgefragt werden. Die Kommunikation war darüber hinaus etwas schwierig, ich fühlte mich oft nicht verstanden und musste meine Anfragen mehrmals wiederholen. Am zweiten Tag wurden die Duschtücher gewechselt (obwohl am Haken), aber gegen kleine Handtücher ersetzt. Die Küche war unpraktisch klein. Das schlimmste passierte beim Auschecken. Obwohl vorausbezahlt wurde uns die Übernachtung noch einmal vom Hotel berechnet und ohne Einverständnis von einer hinterlegten Kreditkarte eingezogen. Auch das Zeigen der Buchungsbestätigung mit dem Vermerk "bezahlt" half nicht, es wurde auch nicht versucht, das irgendwie zu klären. Ich sollte mich wahlweise an den Hotelchef oder an die Buchungswebsite (hotels.com) wenden. hotels.com hat mich hier sehr gut unterstützt und das Problem dann gelöst (wobei das Hotel hier nicht mit hotels.com kooperiert hat). Schön wäre eine tagsüber besetzte Rezeption sowie ein kleiner Gruß zum Geburtstag gewesen (Datum war durch Check-in bekannt).

schönes kleines Hotel

Tolles großes Zimmer und Bad, verkehrsgünstig gelegen, ruhig, Zimmer ließ sich mit elektrischen Rollläden komplett verdunkeln - echt super und bei Hotels eher selten.

Never come again

one reception staff there only from 8:00 am. But NO any service such as baggage keeping, rental umbrella etc. Even printing of invoice of accommodation also could not be managed. As alternative she promised to send by e-mail but I am still waiting for it since more than 30hours ago.

Ein Haus für das Gewisse Etwas!

Endlich Urlaub und Wir starteten in der Stadtresidenz Hildesheim.Check-Inn problemlos, die Suite vom Allerfeinsten,geräumig,modern und individuell eingerichtet mit eigenem Balkon oder Terrasse,kurz und gut,hier fühlt man sich wohl!Parkplätze gibt es auch vor der Tür kostenfrei oder kurz um die Ecke.Zur Zeit von Corona bestellt man das Frühstück am Abend und wird am nächsten Tag auf der Terrasse speisen können oder auch auf dem Zimmer und reichhaltig war Es auch.Und was das Abendessen anbelanget,so kann man fußläufig mehrere Restaurants in nur wenigen Minuten erreichen.Wir bleiben beim nächsten Besuch mal 2Nächte um auch die Stadt kennenzulernen.Also einfach mal ausprobieren...

Ein gemütliches , sehr nettes, kleines Hotel, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Das Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Großzügig eingerichtete Unterkunft, viel Platz. Ein mit viel Liebe eingerichteter Frühstücksraum mit einem sehr reichhaltigen abwechslungsreichen Frühstücksbuffet Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen, das wir jederzeit gern wieder buchen würden.

Frühstück ist mit 20 € unverschämt teuer. Personal beim Frühstück freundlich, aber völlig inkompetent und sehr langsam. Tee wurde in einem Milchgießer (!) serviert, die angeforderte zweite Portion in einer Thermoskanne, allerdings lauwarm. Die Frage, ob Rührei oder Spiegelei gewünscht wird, kam zu einem Zeitpunkt, zu dem wir uns bereits mit einem knüppelharten gekochten Ei versorgt hatten. Platten, die bereits leer waren, als wir mit dem Frühstück anfingen, wurden gerade aufgefüllt, als wir fertig waren.
