Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Hanjimi?
The best area to stay in Hanjimi is around the city centre, particularly near the main train station, for its convenience and access to attractions.

The city centre offers a blend of modern amenities and traditional Korean experiences. You'll find a good selection of quality hotels, restaurants, and shops within walking distance of the Hanjimi KTX Station. This area is well-connected by local transport, making it an excellent base for exploring the city and its surroundings.

Couples looking for a relaxed yet engaging trip will appreciate staying in the city centre. You'll be close to the Hanjimi Traditional Market, a great place to sample local street food and find unique souvenirs. In the evenings, the area around the station offers a variety of dining options, from authentic Korean barbecue to international cuisine, great for a pleasant dinner.

Families will also find the city centre highly convenient. Many hotels in this area offer family-friendly amenities, and the proximity to the train station simplifies arrivals and departures.
When is the best time to go to Hanjimi?
The best time to visit Hanjimi is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months.

Spring offers pleasant weather with comfortable temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. The landscape is lush and green, and you'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season. This period is particularly good for couples looking for scenic walks and outdoor activities without the intense heat.

Autumn also provides mild and enjoyable weather, with temperatures between 10°C and 20°C. The changing colours of the foliage create stunning backdrops, especially around the nearby mountains and coastal areas. This season is superb for solo travellers who appreciate photography and exploring local markets, as the harvest season brings a variety of local produce.

While summer (June to August) can be warm and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, it's a popular time for beach activities along the coast.
