Top Hanging Dog Mountain Hotel Reviews
Historic Tapoco Lodge Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The Lodge was delightful. The restaurants were delish! And the setting along the river was sublime."
A Beautiful Cabin on a Nice Wide Creek! FREE WiFi/ ROKU TV
10/10 Excellent
"Had a rough start, because we didn’t have service or WiFi, we found the dollar general up the street, they had WiFi and I could log back in to get the info. In the meantime, the Host called but it went right to voicemail. He left all the details. We got in and we impressed with how clean and comfortable is was. I probably spent most of my time in the rocking chair on the covered porch. The hot tub was clean and ready for us and we enjoyed it under the night sky. The cabin had everything we needed, we cooked and watched YouTube. Nothing we needed was very far. It was a peaceful get away, already planning a return before it gets too wintery gotta put the fireplace to work. Might bring the kids next time."
" Nottely River Retreat"
10/10 Excellent
"This place was heaven on earth. We wanted to escape the noise and light pollution and this was the perfect place. The cleanliness was top notch and that says a lot coming from this ex OCD professional cleaner. The river and wildlife added to the relaxation. Bob was very quick and responsive from start to finish. Although there were plenty of restaurants, we didn't eat out a single time. We cooked all, meals at the house and enjoyed the chance to reset. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The deer and bird food was a great added extra. We will definitely be back. I cant say enough good things about this rental."
Deerfield Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful setting and very clean."
Rivers Edge Treehouses
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot"
kingisher river cabin
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean beds very comfortable very close to river. You can watch and hear the river from front porch, balcony or set on deck by the rivers edge. Hot tub is very nice to enjoy also. The road in is pretty long and dusty with quite a few pot holes here and there but you can dodge them. Very pretty and quite back there."
Tranquil Chalet - Nottely Riverfront, Starlink w/ Roku TV, Easy River Access
8/10 Good
"The place is very remote but the views are stunning. If you want a nice cabin, and enjoy listening to the sounds of the water, this is a place for you."
RIVERFRONT Cabin on Nantahala River, Minutes from NOC
10/10 Excellent
"Great cabin, beautiful views of the river and mountains."
Great Creekside Hideaway Rustic Cabin - Secluded, Creekside Family Cabin
10/10 Excellent
"Only issue we had was the phone service doesn't actually work. We bought a new land line phone for it, its not the phone. There is some kind of line interference but when someone talks to you it just makes a muffled growling sound and they cant hear you either. Please have the phone service checked out. Outside of that though, this is without a doubt a dream stay if you are wanting to unplug and enjoy a fresh mountain stream and some coffee on the porch!"
