"Our stay was excellent. It is definitely one of the best places we have stayed. The only suggestion I have is to fully stock the kitchen. We only had 2 steak knives and there were no spatulas. We made it work, but for someone that plans to cook a lot during thier stay, it may make it a little difficult. "

"We had a 4-generation family gathering in June 2025 at Kemp's. Plenty of beds, seating, kitchen capacity and space to spread out. The lakeside pavilion with fire pit and dock was great for daytime and evening hanging out. The location is convenient to Houghton/Hancock and all of the Keweenaw Penninsula. Everyone had a great time during our 3-night stay!"
