We really enjoyed our room with a waterfront view. Hot tub was great. Complimentary breakfast was great with a full range of options. We would gladly stay at this property again. "

"It was very clean. An amazing place to spend time with the family. I gave the neighborhood one less star because crossing the road to get to the lake was a bit nerve wracking. Cars go by VERY fast. Just make sure you wait on the side if you near a car coming. Otherwise A great spot. "

"What an amazing find to stay at the Quincy House for one night. We stayed in what was formally known as the maids quarters of this historical home. There was a lot of attention to detail for travelers including fresh cut flowers. There was a small refrigerator with waters, keuring for hot beverages, along with breakfast bars & oatmeal for a quick breakfast or snack. The hosts even had thimbleberry jam for sale. We will keep this on our list for return travel. The owner is very friendly and shared with us some history of this home."

"Great place to stay! Close enough to walk into Houghton over the lift bridge. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom was wonderful, able to make waffles and have coffee in their lounge, staff was so kind and friendly. Already booked our next stay!"

"We had a great stay while moving my daughter in at Michigan Tech. The house was full of thoughtful amenities that made for a delightful stay. Comfortable beds, well lit rooms, beautiful renovations all around in the house. For snowmobilers take note, the mud room has a heater set to dry off your gear where you hang them on hooks.The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware, especially with a Keurig for my ever necessary morning coffee! Full laundry room is available for linger stays. Absolutely loved the shower head upstairs and had to linger a bit under it, especially after move in day on campus! The house is situated on a quiet street overlooking the water. Travel time to campus was about 5-10 mins depending on traffic. If a ship forces the bridge to raise expect a 30 mins depending delay especially like happened to us right at 5pm!All in all we appreciate the comfortable stay and plan to book again when we return. "
