The front desk staff in the mornings were wonderful. The room was comfortable and the AC worked great. There was parking on the property which made spending time on the beach easy because we did not have to find parking. The beach within walking distance was very nice.

We recently stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom unit at Aston Maui Hill. The layout was great for our family, and the full kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, pots, and pans, making it easy to prepare meals. A rice cooker was available upon request, which was a nice bonus. There were a few maintenance issues during our stay. The dishwasher was old and appeared dirty, so we chose not to use it. The coffee maker was broken when we arrived, but the front office promptly replaced it after we requested one. Some of the table lamps were not working because a couple of light bulbs were missing. The living room couch felt old and outdated, but having three TVs with cable was convenient. The beds were comfortable, and the master bedroom air conditioner worked very well. However, the AC in the second bedroom struggled to cool the room. Maintenance checked it and recommended setting it to 68°F. It eventually improved, but it took about 24 hours before we noticed a difference. The biggest downside was the master bathroom. It is quite dated, had a noticeable moldy smell, and we saw both cockroaches and ants during our stay. Overall, the unit was spacious and functional, and the staff responded quickly when we needed assistance. However, the property would benefit from updates, better pest control, and improvements to some of the appliances and air conditioning.

If you wanted to sit by the pool, you need to get in line by 7 AM to place your towel and if they see your chair unattended for at least one hour they move your belongings. The cabanas, food etc way overpriced. If you want to sit at the beach, you have to pay $150 to rent two chairs and an umbrella. The chairs are crammed in next to each other. No space between them no privacy can’t have a conversation without hearing everyone else else’s next to you. A main waterline broke not the hotel’s fault but we went 12 hours without water. You had to buy water if you were thirsty. Couldn’t shower and the pools were dirty.

We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked our room through Expedia which gave me a coupon to use at the onsite Tante’s restaurant! Their food is delicious & so convenient! We also received a free upgrade which we chose a poolside! Room was a little outdated but the bed was wonderful!!! The poolside room was awesome and we also went to the beach abs swam! Will definitely be coming back!
