Great Spot

The renovations were great! The property manager was very responsive. Very convenient access to downtown Hampton, plus a couple of good spots right there in Phoebus (I'd highly recommend Mango Mangeaux). My only complaint was that the neighbor was blaring some loud music outside Saturday afternoon. Also, if you want to leave late afternoon during the week, be aware that the neighborhood streets turn into gridlock with people trying to get to the interstate so plan ahead.

Loved the location.

Was a great home. We felt safe, relaxed and it was near lots of historical locations and the Navy base, which was nice since we were visiting my son sationed out there with the Navy. It was nice to be able to make a few home cook meals for him while visiting. Also, Naighbors were nice and quiet. It was nice to get away for a few days from the busy southern California life and just relax.

ideal no-frills stay for couple or small family

We wanted a small residence away from hotel lobbies and clusters of people during the pandemic, and this was just the thing. Only one bath, not meant for larger family but just fine for a couple or small family of 3 or possibly 4. The location is very convenient to the Interstate highway and is a good jumping off point for going to the various cities in the area such as Hampton, Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, etc.
