On the lake, close to town
We enjoyed the ability to walk to town (carefully) and the house being situated on the lake. The house is generally well appointed with beds, etc. but you can tell a management company is in charge rather than an owner. A few things to note:
The cushions on the deck couch were badly torn so we couldn't sit there. The deck is smaller than we expected from the photos.
There are very steep stairs from the street to the door of the house so only stay here if you can manage such stairs.
Thankfully, we all came in a single car since parking could only accommodate one car.
To get to your car and/or to walk to town (which is close enough to walk), you have to walk along a street part of the way with no pedestrian space.
