We booked this house for our whole family(8 adults ) to spend a day at Callaway Garden’s Christmas . We loved this place . It was close to everything without being in the busy places. The owners were very responsive. We enjoyed the fireplace and loving on the horses . We hope to go back durning the summer to enjoy the pool. Very clean and stocked with all you need for cooking on site.

Visiting with children and grandchildren from different states. We enjoyed the pool and the large "Gaming room". we could set up puzzles on one table and played games on the other tables. Overall very comfortable.

Best place in GA!
I cannot express how much I loved my vacation on this property. The owners were first class! I only wish that we could have stayed longer. The pool was amazing, the atmosphere was the best. So peaceful and quiet. We were able to just sit on the front porch, not stress out about anything going on and relax while watching nature and farming...I could go on and on, but the family that owned the property was one of the nicest families I have ever met. They treated us like we were their family. I have no complaints about anything. I just hope that the place is available the next time we are out there!

The owners Chance and Emily were awesome! We had a slight problem with the TV and Chance was awesome about helping us resolve the problem! Everything was clean and neat! The beds slept great! The front porch was so peaceful to sit and watch the owners little girls ride horses. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Large house on horse farm in Harris County
Our large family had plenty of room to enjoy our Thanksgiving. The house had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay again next time we travel here.

Quilting Retreat
The house was perfect for our quilting guild. There was a large room for setting up the sewing machines and other quilting stations. Hostess was quick to solve any problems and listened to our suggestions. It was a very quiet location and the very short ride into Pine Mountain was beautiful with the fall colors. The beds were very comfortable and the living space was excellent for our group.

We had such an awesome vacation at this home in Pine Mountain. We enjoyed the pool, the home and the quiet rural location away from traffic. There were plenty of things to do within driving distance including the FDR Little White House and museum, shopping and movies just a short drive away. We have some runners in the family and since it was such a quiet area, they were able to get some awesome long runs in on the back roads. Owners were responsive, friendly and helpful. One of the best vacations ever!

Beautiful farm setting and large pool.
Remodeled Master Suite. LG teen BR. LG family eating area. Kitchen needs remodel. But, appliances are newer. We had fun in the large space. Kids loved the farm animals. Close to Callaway. Great pool. Needs awning.

Had a great time at this property. Only thing I would suggest is for the upstairs extremely hot. Would get up to the 80’s during the day and part of the night and then cool down. Very in comfortable for the majority of the travelers

Christmas Lights
We went for a family weekend to celebrate birthdays and enjoy the lights. The property could not have been any better. We felt as if we were home. We loved waking up every morning to look for the horses and watch the chickens! The owners are close by and offered help with anything we needed. Best VRBO rental we have ever rented. We will be back next year for sure!

This property is amazing! We needed somewhere to stay during Thanksgiving and we had 7 of us and this property was perfect! We didn't utilize the pool, but it looked super nice. The horses are so peaceful to watch out the front and back windows, The front porch is a great place to hang out too! You might even get a visit from one of the sweet dogs. We even used the garage room that was turned into a card room or banquet area one night when we were up playing cards. We could play cards and laugh and not bother those who were sleeping. It was the perfect place for us to stay. Next time we visit and need a place to stay - we will stay here!!! Thanks so much!

We can’t wait to come back. Emily and Chance are wonderful host with a wonderful family. This home is so relaxing we completely unplugged could not figure out the tv but it didn’t matter really enjoyed the farm animals and the pool. Our guard dog was a highlight also..lol

Weekend Stay
Our family enjoyed staying at this VRBO for a weekend getaway. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The home was clean. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the pasture. There was a very friendly dog who hung around on the porch some, but not all of the time. The kids enjoyed seeing her. We enjoyed seeing the chickens. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying the view. Chance and Emily were wonderful. Mr. Chance let the kids do a guided horse ride around their track. We enjoyed the pool. Our family had a wonderful weekend!

The house is beautiful. It was so comfortable to stay in. Plenty of room to lounge around. There were six of us staying together and we weren’t “on top” of each other. The pool looked fun. It was too cold for us to swim. There are horses and chickens in the front yard. It was fun to watch them. The owner and his family are super nice and answered all of our questions. The location is great we weren’t too far from anything.

Great place to getaway
Really nice family that lives on the farm. Let our 3 years old ride the horse. 3 sweet dogs run around too and are there to greet you. Close to FDR state park and Callaway Gardens. Pool is awesome and house is newly re-done. Really nice place to slow down and have a weekend away.

Great place to get away
Great location to get you out in the country to truly feel withdrawn from the usual busy schedule, yet just a quick shot to get into Pine Mountain / Callaway Gardens. Our group had a great time being able to just relax from the hectic work week and be able to focus on enjoying each others company.

Close to all the area attractions but feels as if you are in someone’s backyard
This house was conveniently located to the Wild Animal Safari, Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain Downtown. All are within a 10-15 minute drive. House has plenty of space for a large party. I found the “on 25 acre” description of the property a bit misleading. The house is located right next to a horse barn and the owner’s (I’m assuming) home. The pictures of the property also do not show this close proximity. For me, this was expected and one reason we decided to cut our trip short and leave a night early. The overall house condition was good however outdated. The house had not been cleaned well before our arrival as there were dead bugs and live moths all in the home. There was also used tissue and trash under the master bed.

We followed up with the homeowners, who wanted to share the following: - The barn you mentioned is about 100 yards away from the house. We do bring our horses there to saddle or feed them some days; many guests enjoy the opportunity to meet the animals! - Our home is also located on the property, and we're sorry that this caught you off guard. It is about 300 yards from the rental, with trees in between for added privacy. - Living so close means that we are always available to address concerns immediately, and we encourage our renters to call or text us should any issues arise. We would have been happy to come over and clean up any bugs or trash our cleaners may have missed. - We did share your comments with our cleaning team, along with a reminder of the high standards we have for the home. We appreciate your feedback and are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy five-star stays here!

Amazing Location
We rented this home for my birthday. The home was large and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay from towels to seasonings. We were able to feed the horses some apples and enjoy the warm days by the pool relaxing. No WiFi and a weak cell phone signal was a plus for me because it forced everyone to unplug from social media and connect with each other. The beds were comfy and it was plenty of space for my family of 8. The nearest Walmart we found was in Columbus which was about 35/45 minutes away so it took some planning on store runs to get what we needed but There are closer small/local stores and a few dollar generals within a 5 miles range. The highlight was the beautiful night sky. If you have a telescope make sure to bring bit because you’ll get stuck star gazing for hours. The owners were helpful and friendly and were available to answer all of our questions during the stay. I will definitely return!

Our family enjoyed a peaceful getaway at this spacious and comfortable home. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Perfect backdrop for a perfect house with a perfect pool
EVERYONE had a blast! 5 miles to Callaway Gardens and 6 miles to the Wild Animal Park! Both must sees if you have kids! Close to some beautiful State Parks and Pine Mountain which has some quaint little shops and antique stores. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed, beautifully decorated in a picturesque setting! The kids had a ball in the pool and feeding apples to the horses on the 25 acre property. The owners, Chance and Emily and their kids treated us like family and we sat out in chairs watching them each evening train their horses for the rodeo! They also let the kids ride which made their day! Sooo much fun! We will definitely be back!

The house is great. It is on a farm and the kids loved all the animals, chickens, horses and dogs. Town is not too far away and there was plenty of things to go see and do. Love to stay another time when everything is open and not shut down due to a virus scare.

Fantastic time
We had a wonderful time at the house. The owner was so kind to us. He brought us firewood for a bon fire and he let the kids ride on the horse. The kids loved the chickens ,horses and dogs. We felt safe for the kids to run around and play on the tire swing. Plenty of room for all. Loved it!

Owners could not have been more polite and accommodating! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at this property . The grounds are maintained well and all the beautiful farm animals and the scenery lots of windows to look out. The pool was crystal clean beautiful temperature our whole family was swimming all weekend. The barbecue grill was phenomenal. The beds were super clean and comfortable and all the furniture in the house is super comfy to take naps in and watch TV on the big TV in the living room. Owners are very accommodating and will help you with anything you Need. We ARE going back!!!!

Great Country Home For Large Families
We had a very nice and relaxing stay at this property! We have a large family with nine children ages 12 and under and this house fit us comfortably. The pool was perfect for a family with small children. It is completely fenced around and securely gated. The shallow end makes up about 2/3 of the pool and is about 3 ft. deep or so allowing the children a lot of space to play in the water with mom and dad. We enjoyed many hours in the pool as a family. The children also enjoyed catching the chickens and gathering eggs each day. The owners were very friendly and allowed our children to each take a turn riding one of their horses! If they offer when you are there, try one of their fresh chickens raised their farm. Their chicken made the best chicken and dumplings b/c the meat was soooo tender! The house is beautifully decorated to provide a relaxing atmosphere. The master king bed slept well with good quality cotton sheets that were the perfect mix of crisp and soft and thick. I'm very picky about sheets and these were great! Our children all loved this vacation, we went to Callaway, and to the Animal Safari, which were both close by and nice to visit, but the kids were always most excited about going back to this house!

We had 9 in our party (2 families) and this property was absolutely perfect! The house and property is breathtaking. We enjoyed getting to meet the Carlisle family who was so accommodating. We highly recommend this as a must stay for the Pine Mountain area! You won’t find any better.

A GREAT STAY
Our group of Red Hatters rented this property for a few days of relaxation and sightseeing at Calloway Gardens and The Little White House and had a wonderful time. The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished with spaces where all 8 of us could visit, play games and just relax. The setting is so peaceful and quiet and everything we needed was provided. Our hosts were available and gracious. The location is close to The Gardens and to Warm Springs so we were out during the day with lots of shopping in Pine Mountain and Warm Springs and home with plenty of time for swimming, napping and Bridge. This is an excellent choice for a group like ours or large families.

We already miss it!
We came to GA for to see our son at his family day at Ft. Bening. The house is located about 45 min away, but the road is fantastic, picturesque. The property is beautiful, inviting. All rooms are comfortable, all appliances are new generation and in very good shape. Bathrooms are updated, custom made cabinets, kitchen is clean, full of utensils, anything you need for comfortable stay. Owners were always available to help and very kind. We truly enjoyed all three nights. Beds are great, nice mattresses. Pool is beautiful. A heater would be helpful, but its an expensive luxury, I understand. Also, the former garage area, that has several runs tables, could be used as a great game area, with ping pong and pool table. Just an opinion :) If i need to visit the area, we will definitely try to book this property.

Amazing family trip!
This was an amazing stay! Plenty of room for our entire family (6 adults, 1 child, and 2 toddlers). The house was cozy and had everything that we needed. The kids loved the chickens at the coop and the cows! The owners were super nice and very prompt to anything that we needed. Not far from any of the destinations. Had a charcoal grill on the property for us to use. Our family will definitely be coming again! ❤️

Amazing house...beautiful property!
We had the best time at this rental. It was the perfect place to celebrate the Auburn/UT game but also my 50th birthday. Emily and Chance were so accomodating and easily available. There was room to spread out but intimate enough to really enjoy our family time. The pool was relaxing and we loved seeing the cows and the chickens. At night, we laid on lounge chairs by the pool and took in the glorious view that’s rarely visible in the city. The house is a short 10 minute drive to Callaway and Pine Mountain. Its 5 minutes to the FDR State Park and only 50 minutes to Auburn. We’ll definitely rent again!! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!!

The property was very nice. It fit 10 people comfortably. I had a few dislikes The dog kept coming on the property which was a little unsettling because there were a few people (as well as myself) who are afraid of dogs. The dogs were friendly. The pool was full of bugs the 1st and 2nd day. One of the females had to clean it out and she struggled to do it. The day we were leaving, there was a dead mouse in the pool. That is not sanitary. There were ALOT of flies everywhere. Maybe a screen door can help with the flies coming in the house so much. 2 of the door locks did not work which can cause some saftey concerns. Two chairs were broken in the dinining room and one chair in the kitchen. We had to go buy tissue as it was not enough in the home. Good things- there were lots of towels/wash cloths, the beds were comfy and the space was good. Overall it was a good experience.

Shaniqua, we're glad you enjoyed this beautiful home overall, but are sorry to hear certain aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. The homeowner does everything she can to ensure all guests have the optimal experience at their home, and we understand they checked in on your group to ensure everything was up to your expectations but did not hear about any of these concerns at that time. We understand there were far too many people over the maximum 10 guests staying at the house, which is why the supply of toilet paper ran low. The door mentioned that doesn't lock is a door in the middle of the house that separates the hallway and the living room. The other lock is more difficult to lock the dead bolt, and the homeowner has adjusted this so it is easier to lock. The chairs in the dining room and kitchen are not broken; they were just a little unsteady. However, the homeowner has tightened these up for the next guests. She works diligently to ensure all guests enjoy their vacation here, and we look forward to this home continuing to host satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team

Very nice experience. The house sits on a lot of land, so it is very peaceful. The owner is very responsive. Only contacted him for the grill and what happened next was unexpected. He brought over this large grill that he hauled to the property. We were able to pretty much cook everything at once, so I was happy about that. The property has everything in it, so just show up with groceries. Has a coffee maker as well. The property has a chicken coop which was no issue at all to us, we enjoyed watching them eat and how they interacted with each other, we are all from the city, so these things were new to us. One review said the chicken coop was close, but it has to be at least 200 ft away. Even though it's April, the pool was ready so we spent a little time there. The pictures are accurate of how everything looks. The porch has rocking chairs, which was very relaxing to us. The people in the area are very friendly. The property has more than enough room for 10 people, so space was never an issue. Plan some outdoor activities to enjoy all the land the property sits on. Don't expect to get internet service, we had a little bit, but it's not worth using unless you really need it. Once you drive into the city you get full service on your mobile device. Overall, we will definitely come back!

This was a nice home to gather for a long weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the living room was a wonderful place for everyone to sit and talk. We failed to notice the lack of wifi in the description but as we were there with friends we didn't really mind the absence. The other item that should be mentioned is there are chickens - and a rooster - close to the house and we learned roosters don't only crow in the morning! It appears the owners are new to short-term rental but they were very responsive when contacted.

It was wonderful. It was big enough for our family to all be together. We were thankful to have a kitchen. The kids played in the yard. I was close to "the Little White House" and to Callaway Gardens and we visited both. We were very pleased. The owners were very nice and helpful. The took care of the one minor issue immediately. I hope to stay there again when we are in the area. I hope next time is warmer so we can enjoy the pool.
