The hotel is a charming small villa with the reception desk in the bar. Check-in is a problem if you don’t speak German: the owner is an old German man who hates the English and refuses to admit that anyone on the staff can speak English…but his son and wife and one of the waitresses can help you! The old man is a German version of Basil Fawlty and just as amusing to watch in action. The hotel is in a secluded, wooded location that is breathtaking in autumn, but may be a bit bleak in winter. There’s no elevator to service three floors so pack light…the restaurant serves typical Bavarian fare and breakfast is included but although WiFi is also included it’s pretty unreliable and seems to consist of the owner’s phone being used as a hotspot.

Unterkunft ist etwas zu Nostalgisch und könnte mal eine Renovierung erhalten. Personal sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Mängel wurden sofort beseitigt.

Ældre hotel med rigtig dejlig beliggenhed. SUPER service af personalet. Sengene trænger til nye madrasser. Ellers perfekt

Die matratzen könnten mal getauscht werden ansonste gab es keine klagen. Mega freundliches personal. Frühdtück voll in ordnung. Restaurant mega leckeres essen. Und die lage am waldrand einfach mega. Massig kostenlose parkplätze direkt vorm hotel. Für naturfreunde ein super hotel mit tollem preis leistungs verhältniss
