Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly but not over the top. I would have given this 5 stars but they couldn’t provide us with wash cloths which I’m guessing is common in this area? Also no free coffee, there was an espresso maker in the room that made teeny cups of coffee but we are Americans, we like big cups of coffee. Our hotel in Amsterdam gave us a carafe of coffee to take to our room. Now that made my husband smile!

The hotel is a standard business hotel close to the rail station. Everything was clean and well organized. The room was particularly large and well furnished and quiet. The breakfast excellent. The spa was closed as a result of COVID

Good hotel but location could be better.
The Dorint is a very nice hotel that is well maintained. However, there is a lot of construction currently in the neighborhood which can complicate access.There are very few restaurants near the hotel but Halle is a small city so walking downtown isn't bad if the weather is decent.

Hotel is in a quiet place, clean, reception is good and helpful. Don't like every morning around 8am, room cleaning staff knock the door and at the same time open the door without waiting to hear if someone inside the room or not.

No hot tub
Disappointed that the hot tub was not in use as this was partly the reason I picked the hotel. The food was very expensive. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and clean.

Nice rooms
The beds are very comfy and the rooms are well cleaned. The restaurant was closed for cleaning, so was disappointed on food options. Overall was a decent stay.

Nice but a bit oldish
Hotel was decent, nicely located nearby the centre, with restaurants at a small walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant which has a good menu. The hotel amenities were slightly outdated, however for a short business trip these are more than sufficient.

The reception couldn't find me in their system for checking in!!! Finally found, the room was too cold, heater didn't help that much till the next day although put on the highest level. Bathroom and shower very clean and nice. No tea making facilities but the worst was the smell...which did not go away... Smelled like pet smell... Strong and not pleasant.. Breakfast was lovely.. Would i stay there again? Don't think so..

Fantastic staff
The airline lost our bag when we arrived. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful in tracking the bag down. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. Would stay again great hotel.

Comfortable and clean on edge of town
Seemed a bit more 3 star when driving up, but it grew on you as you saw how clean the rooms and bathrooms were, and the eating areas. Food not to be recommended, and when we were there there (last two weeks of July is holiday period so reduced facilities) there was no bar /lounge area, you either had to have drinks on the rooftop or in your room, unless you sat at a dinner table, so not easy to relax if bad weather. The staff were great though, and service was very good, and although at the one end of the town, it was a fairly easy walk, say 10 mins to centre. Underground parking 15 euros a night. But easy.
