beautiful and private cottage by the water
Communication was great and fast. Only thing was the house temperature was 10 C when we arrived. Took 6 hours to warm up to 20 C. One of my friend got a cold and we had to leave one day ahead. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for only one night

'Away' in Haliburton~ hottub, kayaks, hygge living
Fantastic stay at "Away" in Haliburton! Family spent 3 nights in this peaceful, fully equipped home. Thoughtful attention to all details before and during our stay by an attentive, caring host. Deer Hill Cottage on 5 Lake Chain
We stayed over labor day weekend 2025. The house was in rough shape (the VRBO photos blur out all the right places) but it was big enough for our family group and was pet friendly. The lock required an app download on your phone which never ended up working for us. I saw other reviews in 2023 mentioning ...
