"Our favorite hotel of our recent trip. Very spacious, great location, nice amenities, we loved having a bath every night after a long day of walking. Easily walkable from the train station and good food/coffee options nearby. "
"Roomy and comfortable enough to accommodate three people on two queen beds plus extra queen bed.
Excellent, locally-seasoned breakfast serving variety of side dishes."

Hotel Nikko Kanazawa
10/10 Excellent
"The best hotel we stayed in while visiting Japan for 3 weeks. Hotel staff are incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived early and they held our bags until check in so we could walk around. The hotel was very reasonably priced for an upscale hotel. The rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. It’s a short walk from the beautiful train station to sites, restaurants, shopping, etc. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I’m ever back in the area. Kanazawa itself is a great destination. Thank you Hotel Nikko Kanazawa for a fabulous stay."
"Welcoming and helpful staff. Clean and cute rooms. Nice onsen. Traditional yet modern. At walking distance from market, restaurants, castle and other historic places. "
"The hotel is several minutes away from the station. A subway with an elevator connects the station to the junction close to the hotel. It is an easy walk even for me, who has big luggage and travels with my parents in their 70s. The main advantage is avoiding using buses to get to the hotel. However, no matter where you visit, you need to get back to the station to take a bus. It takes slightly more time, but is acceptable for me. "
"An impressively convenient location that is mere steps away from Oyama Shrine and through to Kanazawa castle and the beautiful Kenroku-en gardens. The staff were also incredibly polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable."
"The lounge use and the continuous provision of snacks and drinks throughout the day was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and assiduous, especially Nicole S. who helped us arrange for a delivery of a forgotten item from our last hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and their excellent team. "
"It was a little away from Kanazawa station but some of tourist spots is walking distance. The restaurant in the first floor, “能加万菜 万庭” is little price but it’s worth it. You should try them. "
"Fantastic experience staying here. Had the breakfast one day which was a nice traditional Japanese style breakfast and quite good, but keep in mind the fish market is right across the street. This location was perfect for us, easily walkable to most of the attractions Kanazawa had to offer. The public baths were overall pleasant, although my wife had the unfortunate experience that a woman brought her 6-8 year old son into the women’s bath and felt uncomfortable with that. The beds were huge and rooms overall spacious especially compared to the Tokyo hotels we were used to. Would certainly recommend this hotel."
