"This was a really nice property & we had a fun stay. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren’t expected. The master bed was broken so it wasn’t sleepable but they did fix it on our last night after they were notified. The dishwasher didn’t work after a couple of days, but they were supposed to fix that as well. The biggest concern was the main bathroom shower that was very slick and a bit scary to take a shower in because of that. But all in all, it’s a beautiful house and property and we had a great time!"

"We were a group of 6 families with elementary aged kids and The Sawyer met all of our needs and then some. Tim is a wonderful host, meeting us on arrival for a very quick orientation, and was readily available for any issues (he replaced an empty propane tank with an hour of teaching out). Three separate washing machine and dryer combos was greatly appreciated as were the two refrigerators plus chest freezer. Our only suggestion if space and plumbing allows would be to add a second dishwasher. The on site dumpster helped keep the house clean, though we definitely would have recycled if the option existed. We were also pleasantly surprised to find 12 beach chairs in the party barn. Walk ability to Sawyer Garden Center, Infusco coffee, and Sideyard brewery also came in very handy."

"We traveled to Sawyer for my wife's birthday to spend the weekend with our boys who are living in Chicago. It was the perfect house for six people. The location was excellent, pretty much across the street from Warren Dunes State Park. The house was updated, clean, and comfortable. Communication with the host was clear and easy. I would highly recommend this house for a stay in Harbor Country!"

"When you have boys that are 6 foot tall you really need more than twin beds. This property offered large beds which was great. Lots of outside items as far as pool, seating area and great outdoor games and items for the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and we used it. Location was great and a quiet area and we were able to walk to the Dunes everyday. Down falls of the property was the Thursday prior to our leaving on Saturday I get communication from the owner with all the details rules etc. In her notes she limits you to 4 rolls of toilet paper. There were actually only 3 rolls and mind you we rented the house for a full week with 6 adults. AI says on average for 6 adults is 8-9 rolls. This is very petty but are you kidding me! The inside seating was NOT comfortable at all. Hot Tub only 1/2 of the jets worked."

"The house was beautiful and spacious and very clean. The location was nice and quiet. One of the bedrooms is listed as having 4 twins beds, but this is not really a bedroom, but a section of a living space that is open to a living room and kitchen. This made our sleeping arrangements a little different than expected. There was a construction crew at the house the entire week of our stay, updating the garage and digging a trench for electrical in the yard. This was not communicated to us at all and was frustrating as we had kids playing outside. There were several issues with electrical, missing smoke detectors, and smoke detectors that went off at odd times. Using the double oven flipped the breaker every time, and we did not get support from the host to fix. We ended up finding the lead on the construction project that came to fix these issues. He was very helpful and quick to take care of it. I would hope these wouldn't be concerns going forward, but are examples of how the host was not very communicative.Aside from the communication around the construction and electrical issues, this was a great place for a large group."
