Welcome to Hook Wine & Sinker Lodge at Hackberry,

We could not be more excited to share our little slice of heaven with yall! The lodge is located in Hackberry, LA just off the ship channel. Whether you are here to kick back and relax or try your hand at the many outdoor activities only southwest Louisiana can offer this lodge is convenient to everything the area has to offer and has beautiful waterfront views of the ship channel. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with every modern amenity you could expect to enjoy your stay with us. I could not think of a better place to entertain your family, friends, or clients and enjoy the laid back coastal lifestyle and delicious southwest Louisiana food. The lodge offers upscale finishes throughout and features vaulted ceilings, granite counters, plank flooring, stainless steel chef's kitchen, Tv's wall mounted in living room and bedrooms, high speed internet, large bedrooms with luxurious mattress's, generously stocked with utensils and cookware. If the inside isn't enough the oversized balcony in the front provides views you will not forget, the downstairs area underneath the home is outfitted with a BBQ pit, outdoor furniture, ice machine, large manicured yard, and plenty of driveway to be able to park your boat and cars. If by chance you need to accommodate more folks be sure to check out VRBO listing # 2487294 which is next door to this unit and makes it very convenient to host large groups. Spicer's Marina and Boat launch is just around the corner (3 minute drive/10 minute walk) where you can launch your boat, meet your fishing guide or buy bait/ice. Browns grocery is also a short 5 minute drive to get any groceries or supplies you may need for your stay. If you are in the mood for the beach then you are in luck as well as Holly Beach is a beautiful short 25 minute drive away. We are excited to host yall and grateful you chose to stay with us! PERFECT GETAWAY!!

FIRST-- PICTURES DO NO JUSTICE! This property is perfect! Spacious and welcoming, felt like home! When we arrived the place was immaculate and smelled absolutely amazing! It was just my husband and I this time but we will be booking again with friends and family and booking the entire property! BBQ pits, Fire Pits and chairs, Games, roomy backyard for kids to play, spacious carport/outside entertainment area. Cant wait to go back later this summer!

Let me tell you something…. I have been going through a lot lately. And I told my husband that I needed a break. We booked this place. This place is EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. A full recharge. Easy check in process, super clean homey feel, beautiful scenery, and they have coffee!!!!! I will most definitely be back for a longer stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property! It was SO CLEAN- not superficial clean, but a seriously CLEANED home. The bathroom was to die for! First thing I did was soak in that amazing tub! The home itself was elegant and gorgeous, it felt like a 5 star hotel! We will definitely be renting in the future. Property manager/owner was very prompt with instructions and answers to my questions. Love love love this place!

Quiet time

My wife and I planned a family vacation for Thanksgiving, but as it turned out, not everyone was able to get the week off. We decided to leave early and find a halfway point to stay by ourselves. We are so glad we found Hook, Wine and Sinker. What a gem. The decor is fresh and up to date, the setting is quiet and peaceful, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was a great place for us to decompress. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

4th of July weekend getaway

My husband and I and his parents spent the holiday weekend here and this house was just amazing! It was beautiful inside and very roomy.. it was the perfect home away from home and the host is extremely communicative and responsive! Highly recommend to anyone!

The house was amazing!!

The house was amazing!! You can see how much thought went into providing a stress free stay. We literally only needed food and clothes. And the mattress was so extremely comfortable. We slept like babies.

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience with this property. It was so clean, accommodating, & just what we needed. Was the perfect spot for our family of four. We we’re able to catch blue crab down the road then boil them underneath the house in the patio area. We then went red fishing & brought back so many memories. We will definitely be back! Wonderful experience & accommodations were top notch!

Amazing Getaway!!

This beautiful, clean home was perfect for our family getaway! We rented both sides of the house. The home fit our needs perfectly! The house, deck, and space below was above and beyond meeting our needs. Beautifully designed, top notch furniture and amenities!! The host definitely is the definition of Super Host! Our families spent time fishing and cooking! We would love to come back to stay!
