Very lovely, well-maintained and comfortable accommodation close to the cablecar station that takes you up the mountain. Has a nice restaurant and hiking equipment facilities on the ground floor.

部屋でウッとなり、むせ返りました。

カフェは夜８時までの営業で、７時半前に着いたのですが、もう閉店、と言われました。ドリンクのみの希望でしたが。ラストオーダーの時間を書いて欲しいですね。意気消沈し、近くのコンビニに行きました。がっかりした気持ちで部屋に入りましたが、同部屋の外国人の方の体臭が強烈で、非常に不愉快な滞在となってしまいました。交流は大事ですが、部屋は分けてもらえると嬉しかったです。

チェックインが最終時間より20分ほど遅れてしまったのですが、スタッフさんが待っていてくださり、親切に対応していただけました。設備も清潔で快適でした。寝具は簡素でしたが（敷布団は厚さ10センチほどのマットレスのみ、掛け布団は合成繊維の毛布2枚、シーツはマットレス側のみで掛け布団に対してはなし）、私は気になりませんでした

オシャレで清潔感もあって、カフェの料理も美味しくて、コスパ良く満足です。 ドミトリータイプは同室の他の客ガチャみたいなところはあるので、マナー面とか静かに過ごせるかはソコ次第ですね、その辺をひっくるめて非日常を楽しむのが山小屋とかドミトリーの楽しみ方かと思います。

建物自体が綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。 都心から離れているためチェックインに時間がかかりますがすぐ近くにコンビニもあって困らないです。 何よりぐっすり休むことができてよかったです。

おひとり様オススメ

高尾山を満喫するのに、駅もコンビニも近くでとても良かったです。 上のベッドでの宿泊だったので、はしごを登るのに少し緊張しましたが、寝るだけの滞在だったので、とても快適でした。 翌朝は遅い出発だったので、一人でのんびりできるスペースがあってよかったです。

僕の体験が口コミになるかわからないけど今回は五泊六日泊まり二回目のベースキャンプになった。台風の影響で飛行機が欠航なるおそれもあって、予定より二日前倒しにしてもらって泊まったけど柔軟に対応してもらい、初めから連泊のように同じベッドに宿泊できた。安くて清潔で一晩眠ることができる環境としては今回も申し分なかった。もっとも前回は二段ベット二つの四人部屋のドミトリーだったが、今回は10人部屋の外国人の泊まり客も多い部屋だった。僕は用事のあった埼玉県の大宮からここに来たので、夜23時のチェックインになった。フロントには前日に電話してメールを送ることで、当日は夜間の通用口の暗所番号をメールして頂き、枕カバーとシーツとチェックインの記入用紙は僕の泊まるベットに用意してもらった。もうみんな寝入っている様子だったからちょっと気を使ったな。大きな窓の下に物が置けるくらいのスペースがあって各自が適当に荷物を置き乱雑で見苦しさはあった。僕は下のベットだけど僕の目の前のスペースにも誰かのケースがあった。僕は自己完結をモットーに旅しているから自分の荷物は全部自分の部屋になるベッドに持ち込んで左右横に置き、中央で寝た。不思議とベッドの中で座って荷物を整理したり、寝たまま工夫して着替えても天井で頭を打つことはなかった。二段ベッドは別の二段ベッドとくっついていて、カーテンの開け閉めで仕切る入り口のほうの隣同士の壁が窓のように一部突き抜けていて、そこはお互いがカーテンを閉めて仕切っている形式だ。団体のお客が仲間同士で泊まったときに、ベッドから出なくてもカーテンを開ければ隣といつでも意思疎通できる仕組みなんだろう。でも僕の場合は、見知らぬ外国人の女性だった。朝四時に起床する僕が迷惑をかけないようにちょっと気を使ったな。外国人の方はドミトリーの中では夜10時頃とか小さな声で相手と喋ったり、配慮があるような印象を持った。前回みたいに隣から日本人の無配慮な話し声が夜遅く壁から聞こえてくることは一度もなかった。でもエンジン音の鋭い車が道路を夜遅く突き抜ける音はあった。 今回はベースキャンプ内にあるカフェで何か飲んだり食べ物を注文しようかと思っていたものの、その日はどこかの団体が一日中貸し切っていて、今回も利用しなかった。活気のある建設的な喧騒と料理の匂いが上の共用スペースまで上がってきたぐらいだ。きっとカフェの貸切はベースキャンプの重要な収入源になっているのだろう。その日は貸切の影響じゃないとは思うけど、上の泊まり客も多いのか、上がり框のスペースいっぱいに靴やスリッパが散乱していて、これでは階段を上がってきて靴を脱いで上がりにくいし、外出するときも靴を履いて階段のステップに足を置きにくかった。ちゃんと靴箱があるのに、上がり框から階段のステップに降りるスペースに靴を置いたままにする人の神経は理解できない。 雨が強かった日。京王線は高尾山口駅から北野駅が朝から不通になった。普通なら簡単に行けるJR高尾駅までバスで行けるし、ベースキャンプから歩けば20分くらいで着く。近所のセブンイレブンとファミリーマートがある歩道をまっすぐ歩いていけばやがて右手にJR高尾駅が見える。この日夕食をどこで食べればいいか困った。駅近くの温泉施設にある食事処で温泉のあと食べようと思っていたのに雨の影響で午後五時に閉店していた。だから僕はJR高尾駅まで歩いていき、食事処を見つけてそこで夕飯を食べた。お通しからうまかった。田舎野菜となめこ汁、なめこ雑炊が美味しかった。 最終日。ドミトリーに泊まっているのは僕一人だけだった

んー、口コミかぁ。いや正直わからないな。MT.Takao base campにこの夏、四泊五日したものの、僕の場合、ただ夜帰ってきたらよくきしむベットで眠り、朝早く出かけていたから。素泊まりという概念すら素通りしてきたかもしれない。僕は都内と八王子に用事があって、それとあともう一回昔よく登った高尾山に行きたくて、できれば安く清潔に宿泊したかったからここを選んで泊まってみたわけだけど、そういう意味では申し分なかった。ドミトリー形式で部屋の外は木造的ロッジな共用スペースがあって自由に使えるみたいだ。朝7時頃に家族連れがテーブルに座って自分たちで用意した朝食を、すごく、すごーく小さな声で会話しながら食べて過ごしていたのを記憶している。その一方で夜になんの配慮もなしに喋っている大人たちもいた。部屋で寝てると夜遅くまで隣の壁から話し声が聞こえてきたり、同じ部屋のどこかのベットからまるで悪夢にうなされているような不吉ないびきが始終聞こえてきた。でもほとんど何も聞こえてこない平穏な夜もあった。要するに、ここは泊まる人がどんな人となりを持ち込んでくるかで、あなたの宿泊環境が決まると言っても過言じゃないかもしれない。僕はそんなこと最初からわかりきったことだから何も気にせずにやりすごせた。例えば、もしMT.Takao base campやその他のドミトリー形式の宿泊施設がフリマに出品されている商品な何かだったら、神経質な方はご遠慮ください、とでも注意書きがあるだろう(笑)。まあ、宿泊施設だからあるわけないけど。あとここの正面玄関のドアは営業時間中しか使えなくて、それ以外の夜遅くや朝早い時間は中央横の細い道を通って勝手口みたいなドアから出入りすることになっている。外から入る時は、事前に渡された暗証番号を入力して入る手筈だ。或る早朝、外国人の方が正面のドアから出かけようとしているのに、ドアが開かなくて困っていた。ちょうど僕も出掛けるところだったから横の通用口からそのまま出ていったら、外国人の方もそれにならっていた。旅とは機転だ。ああ、そう言えば、ドミトリーの部屋は夏のクーラーがすごく一日中効いていたり、適度であったり、一体誰が調整しているのか知らないし、知りたくもないけど、僕はそんなことにいちいち気にしないで、ちょっと寒いなと思ったときは用意された簡易毛布みたいなものを二枚使って寝た。旅は自分で面白くするものだと思っているから、安く宿泊できる環境に対して批評する姿勢などはなから僕は持ち合わせていない。空調はよかったと思う。近くにあったセブンイレブンにはよく行った。そのすぐ先にファミリーマートまである。さらにその先を(20分くらいか？)真っ直ぐ歩いていくとJRの高尾駅が右手に見える。でも曲がらないでそのまま少し行くとコインランドリーがあってそこで僕は洗濯した。あるいはもっと近いところにもあるかもしれないけど。 良い思い出と言えば、僕は夕方帰ってきたら高尾山口駅近くの温泉施設に行き、天然温泉の露天風呂に浸かり、夕空と自然を眺め、たまに曇り空が大粒の雨を降らせ、最高だった。その温泉施設には食事処があって、まるで修学旅行みたいな気分に一人なって僕は食事をした。にしん蕎麦、肉野菜定食が美味かった。そのあと堪能した抹茶アイスも最高にイケてた。抹茶アイスを頼んで支払いのお釣りを受け取って財布に戻すよりも先に抹茶アイスを手渡してくれた。まるで僕が食後に抹茶アイスを食べることを予め知っていたみたいに。

チェックイン最終の20時を過ぎてしまいましたが、スタッフの方に丁寧に対応していただき無事チェックインできました。 また、建物は木の香りに包まれ、天井も高くカフェもあり、自然を眺めながらテラスでゆったりすることもできます。 最寄りの高尾山口駅には温泉もあります。 今回登山目的ではありませんでしたが、非常にゆったり過ごせ疲れを癒すことができました。 また来たいと思います。 スタッフの方、ありがとうございました！
