"This is an absolutely great place to stay in Wengen, right near the train station. I booked a single room, but was put in a double room with a balcony overlooking the main street of the town. The room was comfortable but basic and deficient in electrical outlets (none by the bed), but the overall feel of the hotel was somewhat luxurious, even though it is just a three star. The buffet breakfast was probably the best that I've had in Europe. The dining area was huge and the selections were tasty and plentiful. The onsite restaurant also had good food, although the service could be inconsistent. This place was well worth what I paid and Wengen is an excellent base for exploring the Jungfrau area of Switzerland."

"Staying at Bergwelt Grindelwald was an experience! It was a beautiful hotel with amazing hospitality. We booked a corner room and fell in love with the view that came with the room as well as how big and spacious our room was! The hotels location is also super convenient when it comes to wanting to stay in Grindelwald! The train station was down the road, grocery stores around the corner, amazing restaurants nearby, and easy access to Grindelwald First!! Shout out to the people working in room service- they were super attentive and so sweet!! Also, the breakfast every morning was AMAZING. We only ever spent money on lunch and dinner because breakfast was actually delicous! Loved it here!"

"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles in the rooms. However, I feel like even instant coffee in the rooms would have been nice as well as instant creamer. If you stay, and you need an extra pillow or sheets, you might want to pre-arrange that before you arrive. Everything was great."
