The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessed via two characteristic Dutch staircases. As is common in traditional Dutch homes, the stairs are fairly steep and there is no lift. While this may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility, it adds authentic charm and ensures extra privacy and quiet once inside.

As with most historic European areas, street parking is regulated. On Voorhelmstraat, paid parking is available for short stays (maximum 3 hours). For longer parking, free parking is available about a 10-minute walk away on Graafschapstraat.
