The Ha Long Sapphire Cruise was fantastic. The staff were lovely, the activities were fun, and we had a great time—special thanks to 'Sorry,' who kept us laughing! However, just a couple of things to make others aware: communication before the cruise was poor. I had trouble getting answers about transfers, which led us to make alternative arrangements. On the day of the cruise, we didn’t know where the meeting point was. I should’ve reached out earlier, but they also should have sent check-in info the day before. After contacting them at 10:30 AM and having to ring them, I finally got the location, and we arrived with just a minute to spare, which wasn’t the best start. We also booked two suites (only rooms left on our dates), but they were quite different. The large bath in the photos was only in one room, while the other had a smaller bath and window. When we asked, we were told the owner only photographed the best room, despite multiple complaints. Luckily, we had both rooms booked, so we could use the bath we preferred. But, If you’re booking a suite, make sure to confirm if you want the larger bath. Other than that, the cruise was well-organized, the food was great, and the staff were wonderful. We highly recommend the 2-night cruise—the second day was an amazing experience, and we enjoyed every moment!

Amazing trip!

We did 2 nights which was just the right amount of time- it really was an amazing trip! The boat was just lovely, staff were excellent and the food was top rate. A few things to know - you need to take your own drinking water. You are charged for all drinks incl water and the charges are very high in USD. The itinerary is great, but it’s also very busy. We loved it! And completely accomodating for our Miss 6.

The ship was older than it looked on the photos of the website. The stuff was nice to upgrade our room so we had lots of space on the terrace to our selves, but it was at the back of the boat so it was too hot to be there( they need a fan) and near the engine so it was loud most of the time so not much use for the upgrade. The activity was not clear till you get on the ship and they cancelled Thai chi lesson in the morning and the cooking class of 5 minutes is a joke. Only few spoke English, but the stuff were all nice. As I paid bit more than other Cruise, it was little bit disappointing.

I went for two days and one night through Saphire and the following are the pros and cons: PRO: -Good service -Good rooms and jacuzzi in the bathroom - Free activities like swimming and kayaking CONS: -Most of the staff members don’t understand English making it difficult to communicate -The cooking class was a five minute class which seemed repetitive because we made the exact same rice paper rolls for dinner the day before. - drinks are three times expensive as compared to Restraunts in Hanoi and if you get your own alcohol, they charge you for that too. - if you have a liking towards think and tough pillows, you’re ready for a good sleep. - you will be in Vietnam but most of your meals will be western and bland. (They even had unsalted bacon) Overall enjoyed the complete trip because ha long bay is beautiful and waking up to the view is an experience by itself.

NEW CRUISE, great food and friendly staff Never regret to book Sapphire cruise. Free pick up and drop around Hanoi old quarter to cruise by bus ,The room was spacious and comfy. The jaccuzzi was excellent too. There is a good selection of movies to choose from on the TV in the room. I did enjoy activities: kayaking, swimming... and Lots of time to relax by myself, no rushing at all. I love the way they set foods. It's look great and tasty I would recommend this trip on this ship and would love to return myself in the summer.
