The cruise was amazing! The cabins are very clean and have extensive bathrooms with a huge tub. The ship is large and has many decks so you can get all the views of the karsts. The staff were friendly, funny, and skilled: our hosts Mr. Smiley and Mr. Milky went out of their way to talk to everyone and make sure they felt welcome. The dinner and lunch on the first day were insane! Each meal was 5+ courses of amazing food. At night, we got to go squid fishing, which was very fun!
Kenny G, Smiley & Tony were awesome hosts / tour guides. The rest of the staff on board were excellent, they made sure everything ran smoothly, kept the drinks and food flowing. The chef prepared and cooked the most incredible dishes we have eaten while in Vietnam.
There was a full itinerary of things we were doing on all of the days which was really nice. We did kayaking, squid fishing, swimming, boat trips and we had a bbq on the beach.
The dragon legend boat itself really stands out with its masts and unique decor. It truly is a beautiful boat. The rooms have everything you need and more.
We will definitely recommend the Dragon Legend Cruise to our family and friends.
The staff are excellent and work very hard to make things perfect. They work very long days and it shows. Our trip was slightly marred by a noisy young family which I did not expect to see on this type of cruise and their cabin was above ours! The food is good but not outstanding and I did expect slightly better for what we paid. It's very well organised despite the chaotic terminal area and the transfers all worked fine. I wasn't looking forward to the water puppet show but it was very good actually. The scenery is of course spectacular but we didn't have the best weather sadly. Overall a great trip and a definite must do.
Amazing stay, staff were brilliant throughout. Only negative was a terrible stop for a water puppet show on the transfer back to Hanoi. (Transfer is not included in price, they contacted me and arranged transfers for 70 USD)
