It’s set away from the crowds of tourists for a truly peaceful and special experience. It is a close drive to many things to do and places to eat, but coming back at the end of the day is the best part."
"What an end to a 6 week pilgrimage -to Nekromanteion- I looked forward to ending the trip in some sort of style ... An expensive room does not equate to excellent service... I have never paid over £40 for a room p/n. As this was the last part of my trip I imagined paying+extra for a greater service experience+for a sea balcony as advertised@hotels.
A huge disappointment made possible by the fact that Hotels.com do not allow your number/contact details to be revealed when you call the hotel....
"Beautiful hotel, can’t think of a single fault. amazing value for money, rooms are big, clean and comfy and have a lovely balcony space. the family who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. it’s in a lovely location, just a short walk from the beach, gouvia centre and the marina. "Our stay at Silver Bay Hotel was very disappointing. We had booked a room with two large twin beds but were given one double and one single. The single bed was definitely not sleepable - the mattress was so lumpy you could feel the base beneath it. The double bed was a bit better, but still not comfortable.
The room was far from clean, and the bathroom was poorly designed. The shower caused water to flood the bathroom, and we had to run down to reception for extra towels to try to contain...
