The hotel is in excellent condition. Ample parking and a very romantic vibe BUT is close to impossible to communicate with the staff during after hours and there was no hot running water. Also, as a VIP guest, nobody told us that of the free wine botte so we left it behind.

Escogimos el Hotel Puerto Valdés para hospedarnos durante la graduación de nuestra hija en el Coca-Cola Music Hall, y fue una excelente decisión. Su ubicación, a solo minutos del evento, fue perfecta, pero lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estadía fue la calidad del servicio. Desde que entramos nos sentimos bienvenidos. La recepción estaba impecable, con un ambiente elegante, acogedor y un aroma muy agradable que transmitía limpieza desde el primer momento. Queremos agradecer especialmente al Sr. Héctor, quien nos brindó un servicio excepcional. Nos asistió con nuestro hijo, que utiliza silla de ruedas, y con el estacionamiento de nuestra SUV. Su amabilidad, empatía y disposición para ayudar fueron extraordinarias. Todo el personal fue igualmente atento y cordial. El estudio que nos asignaron era hermoso, amplio, elegante, impecablemente limpio y muy cómodo. Además, fue ideal para movilizarnos con la silla de ruedas. Agradecemos que tomaran en cuenta nuestra petición de asignarnos un estudio tranquilo, ya que nuestro hijo es muy sensible a los ruidos. Ese detalle marcó una gran diferencia para nuestra familia. Recomendamos el Hotel Puerto Valdés al 100%. Gracias por hacer aún más especial un momento tan importante para nuestra familia. Sin duda, volveremos.

Our room was clean, which we appreciated, but overall our stay was disappointing. Although we booked the most economical room, it lacked basic conveniences, such as a nightstand to place personal items. The bathroom was spacious but not very functional. The shower had no door or curtain, so water spread across the entire bathroom floor after every shower. We ended up placing towels on the floor, and having the shampoo dispenser outside the shower was inconvenient. The room also became quite warm at night because the air conditioning didn’t seem to reach the bed very well. In addition, the soundproofing could definitely be improved, as we could hear many noises coming from the neighboring room. Parking was another downside. There is a $25 daily parking fee, and the parking area is very narrow, making it difficult to maneuver. If the lot is full, guests have to ask the front desk to move another vehicle before being able to park. Finally, the photos on Expedia did not accurately represent the hotel, which was disappointing. While the room was clean, I don’t feel the overall experience matched the expectations created by the listing. I do want to recognize the front desk employee, who I believe was named Chris. He was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. He provided excellent customer service, and we truly appreciated his friendly attitude.
