"We chose the Stratford House Inn based on its location and the strong reviews we'd seen — and it delivered on every count. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The property itself felt safe and quiet — exactly what you want after a long day of travel. Sometimes a hotel just does everything right without any drama or surprises, and that's exactly what this was. I'd stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in the Edmond area."

"the room had a smell to it. the bathroom was handicap accessible which is fine but the hand held shower made a mess all over the floor, there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom, the counter was very small and this is where the coffee maker was put making no counter space at all, no dish for the soap, the bed was ok. lumpy. i didn’t want to walk on the carpet without socks and they were filthy after walking around on it. the staff was nice but the room was not great. i would rather spend a little more money for a nicer room and experience in the future. "

"This motel was well-maintained. It had a lot of electrical outlets, which is very important to me. Everything worked well. Of special note was the sincerely kind and helpful manner of Rhonda, the evening front desk clerk. She gave us good information and was exceptionally welcoming. Rhonda was very concerned that we would have a good stay. The hot breakfast buffet was above expectations with a very wide assortment of items. This is where many motel amenities fall short of the mark, but this LaQuinta was a treat on our departure today."
