The house has everything needed to enjoy a few days or longer. The house was clean and well taken care of. The beds and bedding clean and in excellent condition. I loved having the washer and dryer to use . The outside area is perfect for warm evenings, the deck was oversized for guests.
This is a cabin home, quiet with an excellect homey feel! We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!
We loved everything about this house. It’s so “Gunnison!” The river is just the frosting. If we needed something, it was there. We loved the large dinning table and kitchen. Drinking a glass of wine with my family under the aspens while watching my son in law fish in the river after a day of hiking, etc. Perfect!
Location is awesome, not too close to town to make it private. Close enough for convience.
Took a trip for snagging season. Unfortunately there really wasnt any to snag.
We ended up fishing instead and caught some nice trout
The property was beautiful. The home is very lovely and roomy. I wasnt happy with the lack of cleaning. It was very dusty and stuffy. The fire place made a very load noise, so we couldn't use it. The Bbq grill was dirty. We had to do a mild cleaning before using it and the firepit was caked with Soot. Very dangerous level.
The host was very Accommodatingand very pleasant. We truly enjoyed our stay. Its a beautiful location.
We would definitely recommend. Beautiful setting along the river and the grounds were great. They have a really large and nice wood deck along the backside of house with plenty of furniture to sit, relax and enjoy the view.
The house had everything you need from shampoo in the bathroom to any kitchen appliance you need. The living area was nice with comfortable furniture. Plenty of room to visit with friends or just sit and read a book. Loved having a washer and dryer for long stays.
The bedrooms were nicely furnished and beds were very comfortable to sleep.
The only thing I would have liked to have had was safety bars in the shower but that may not matter to younger people. It would have been nice to have trash can with wheels as it is a little ways to the street for taking heavy trash out on trash day.
Overall we will be renting again, hopefully for a longer stay next year.
This is our second stay at this property. We rented it for the second time due to the AMAZING river front grass yard and patio with beautiful Aspen and flowers. This is such a relaxing place to watch the river and boaters, read, talk or nap!
The home itself is older but quaint. Two bedrooms are good for couples but our adult children slept in the bunks and they said they were not very comfortable for an adult. There is only one bath which can be challenging but we made it work.
The kitchen is functional and the BBQ works also. There is a large table to eat at and a comfortable living room with lots of seating. The mud room is nice to toss the fishing gear and dirty shoes.
We were able to kayak right to the property and take out into our yard so that was fun!
Alain was very helpful when needed during our two week stay. We will be back!
Overall, a nice place to stay....great place for my friends and I to headquarter for our fishing trip. Although we didn't use all the equipment available to us ( like the TV) everything seemed to work nicely. A few things could be improved with respect to the houskeeping crew: The grill and the grill tools were quite greasy and dirty...not a big deal in that we know how to wash dishes. Also, we had to run down to the market to buy dishwasher soap as there was only one tablet to start with...again, no big deal. I have stayed in quite a few rental properties. This was the first time I have ever been asked to assist with trash removal and laundry. We tried to comply with the requests. We made sure that we had all the kitchen ware clean and put away for the cleaning crew. An initial load of towels was started in the washer to assist the crew. We were out of the property two hours ahead of the deadline as the owner seemed pressed with respect to his timetable. My daughter and son in law have three VRBOs.They tell me that they have people in place at all times to insure ease of transfer from one tenant to another. That seemed to be absent here.
The setting was wonderful and the host was very attentive to anything we might need. Thank you for a great stay! (Note that vrbo required that we rate the ski experience to submit this review; we didn't ski at all as it was only October)
The house is great. The porch and back yard are where we spent most of our time. Relaxing and watching the river was our goal.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Clean, and well stocked, but very dated. We were excited about relaxing out by the river, but it was right by the highway, so it wasn't as relaxing as we had hoped for.
We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful cabin and Alain was an incredibly gracious host answering any questions we had almost immediately. I highly recommend this lovely rental.
Beautiful spot. So enjoyable to watch nature happen out the back windows. Nice to be close to town, but not hassled by traffic or noise. Would definitely return to this location.
