About this property

Walk to the beach! Pet friendly cottage/beach on Fort Morgan Peninsula.

  • Located on a quiet street on a private wooded lot just a block off the beach!! Easy walk to the beach with neighborhood beach access! Beach is pet friendly (dogs must be kept on a leash). This comfortable cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa for accommodating extra guests. The kitchen has granite countertops, all major appliances, and is stocked with basic utensils/kitchenware needed to prepare a meal. There is an office nook with a desk. Spacious, wrap-around, outdoor deck for sunbathing and relaxing. There is a convenient, outside shower for use after the beach.
    Enjoy the beach and coastal area with a more relaxed pace at this property on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. Yet, still so much close by! Fort Morgan State Historic Site approximately 7 miles away. Fort Morgan Public Boat Launch is 4 miles away. Several local restaurants and golf course within 3 miles. Still an easy drive to other popular destinations in this area including Tanger Outlets, The Wharf in Orange Beach, The Park at OWA, The Track, Gulf State Park, Waterville, USA, etc!

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS

    * Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.

    * Amenities include free WiFi, 1 smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, and outdoor deck.

    * Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.

    * Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized shampoo, and soap per bathroom.

Good location, not jammed in between houses. Would like to give 5 stars but the outdoor lighting was poor, especially the front under the deck. Also the house had a disagreeable odor that stayed after we opened all the doors snd windows. There were 5 air fresheners throughout the house. So they know. Good floor plan and pet friendly for 150 pet fee.

Great location to the beach!

We enjoyed this house as it was a great neighborhood and one block from a fabulous dog friendly beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very private. Restaurants were near and easy to get to.Highly recommend for a beach getaway!

Great little getaway

Very good stay for 4 people. We were even able to bring our 2 dogs- the beach and property are great for dogs. The listing says it sleeps 6, which is possible, but might be kinda crowded!! The outside shower was amazing!!

We stayed for 4 weeks this year and last. Great location, a 2 minute walk to the beach. Close to some fun restaurants too. We would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Ft. Morgan!! Also, Shonna is always so nice to work with. She is so friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Perfect beach vacation location! One block from white sand beach that is pet friendly! Loved the cute cottage! Plenty of room and all the conveniences of home available. Comfortable, clean, relaxing! Lots of windows, light and airy, plus you could hear the ocean! We were so pleased with our stay! A special request concerning my pet was honored so kindly. Loved the layout of the cottage! Dollar General is 3 miles away and super convenient plus Gulf Shores is close for restaurants and activities. Fort Morgan is close for a nice visit! Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!

No real complaints. The house was nice and the short walk to the beach was convenient. Only complaints are that we had one small partial roll of toilet paper and no coffee filters or coffee when we got there. Overall would stay here again tho

Cute beach house, good location

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a quick weekend getaway. It was very last minute and we were traveling with pets, so I was afraid we wouldn’t find anything. I reached out to the owners and they approved a shorter stay than is usually required. We were pleasantly surprised with the location. Just a short walk to the pet-friendly beach. The house was nicely decorated and clean. We had a great weekend!

Coming back next winter season

My wife and I spent a month here in Ft. Morgan. This property was just want we needed. It’s very close to a beautiful beach, and has a great neighborhood to walk in. The deck is spacious, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset as well. It was a perfect size, especially when we had friends over to visit. We would definitely recommend to friends and family alike. We’re both so excited to be back next winter. Paul & Laura

Great little cottage for a beach getaway.

Everything was clean upon arrival. There were a few cleaning rags left behind but no problem. Bedrooms are quite small but sufficient. Walk to beach was short. Only suggestion to improve is some lighting on the steps. At night, we had trouble seeing them after we came in from eating out.

Washer & Dryer

This objekt comletely corresponded to our expectation. Whole place was very clean; nice furnished and close to the beach.We only have one complaint. Washer and Dryer were listed as objekts of use; unfortunalty both were not functional which we discovered only when we used them.Which meant that we had to go to Laundrette after hours. These machines must not be functional for a long time.
