Gulf-Front Luxury at Shiloh – Your Beach Getaway!

"Shiloh – A is the Gulf Front side of a beautifully designed, four-bedroom, three-bath duplex in Fort Morgan, Alabama. With more than 3,000 square feet of living space and room for up to 21 guests, this spacious retreat is perfect for large group vacations or special beachside events. The other side of the duplex is not a rental, offering added privacy during your stay.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cookware you need to prepare everything from light snacks to full meals. The open-concept living and dining areas make it easy to cook, dine and gather together. A private elevator offers convenient access from the ground level to the upper floors, making unloading luggage or groceries a breeze.

Sleeping arrangements are designed for flexibility. The first floor features a primary bedroom with a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The second floor includes a second bedroom with a king and a twin bed, a third bedroom with three triple twin bunks, and a fourth bedroom with a queen and twin bed.

Step out onto your private screened-in porch and take in panoramic Gulf views and the fresh coastal breeze. You’ll also find plenty of parking for boats, bikes and beach gear, along with a gas grill for outdoor cooking (guests provide propane).

As a guest of Shiloh – A, you’ll enjoy access to two outdoor community pools, a children’s pool and tennis courts. Plus, you’re just steps from the sugar-white sand and calm turquoise waters of Fort Morgan’s beaches.

A perfect place!

We were more than impressed with the house. The area, and the Gulf2Beach company. The house was more than we imagined and was the perfect family get away. Everyone had fun ( ages 5-69!) We loved the house inside and out! We enjoyed the beach everyday. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The elevator made for convenient loading and unloading of our bags. Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with us!

great family vacation

We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy. We loved the location. We didn't need much help from management. House could be a little cleaner.... areas around door knobs and handles need a little deep cleaning, but overall there were no issues with cleanliness. This location and house floor plan are incredible. The elevator was a major help in loading and unloading luggage, groceries etc. We would definitely return to this location.

Amazing

We absolutely loved spending Xmas time here. All the people around were “up scale” and extremely nice. None of the crazy crowd. No noise either. Lots of dogs around this area. Be sure to bring yours. About 2 mi away from Sassy Bass restaurant and convenient store. Thanks for allowing us to bring our dog.

What a great place. So relaxing and quiet. It sleeps 12 in beds not 14. The pullout couch is pretty gross and hard. House was very clean otherwise We used an air bed. There were plenty of towels for 12. The view and ease of going to the beach was fantastic!! I would go back.

Good stay.

We rode out Ida our first couple of days. No flooding. House was great. Solid construction. Minor leak around a door, but wasn't unexpected with that level of wind and rain. Terrific beach access, well stocked, our third stay at this property. We like the upgrades to the kitchen and bedrooms. The master mattress is my only complaint--like sleeping on a slab of granite--hard as a rock--recommend upgrading to something more middle of the road in softness. Otherwise terrific. 5 Stars.

Great Vacation rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our entire family loved this rental. The young ones especially loved that we were only steps from the beach. Those of us with health issues loved having the elevator to insure that everyone could enjoy the home. Even an issue with the elevator late on a Friday evening was quickly addressed and taken care of by the property managers. Also, having ample hot water in the rental was enjoyed with so many of us taking showers, washing dishes and clothes. Every one of us have expressed interest in returning to this rental property next year!

With the layout of the home we all had plenty of room for our own space, but also lots of room in the common areas! The kitchen/living room were spacious for a family of 13 to cook & enjoy each other. There is pantry/closet space for everyone to put away their clothes etc for the week. You can’t get any less steps to the ocean! The elevator was a huge plus for luggage & grocery trips. The views are perfect! Our family ranges in ages 5-65 & it was perfect for everyone!

Small problem was fixed quickly and nicely. Met the owner from the other side of the building; really nice man! Assured me that my grandchildren would not bother them because of the thick walls. :) Coastal Resort Rentals is wonderful and very nice at all times. They even sent out emails/text to remind us of garbage days! The beach couldn't have been better!!! We were able to leave everything on the beach - umbrellas, toys, chairs, etc. That took care of a lot of work!

Shiloh - Great Location and Great Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could not have asked for a better experience. Family of five (including a 90-year-old in-law) and everyone had a fabulous time. The elevator made access easy for my mother-in-law and getting luggage upstairs. Views were spectacular and direct beach access can not be beat. Only a mile from Sassy Bass which offers a great breakfast and in the summer you can take advantage of the food trucks that gather in the parking lot of Kiva Dunes. Love the coded entry so you don't have to worry about getting to a rental office before it closes and also they were there when we needed them. We dropped a blender while washing it and wanted to report the breakage. They were very courteous and helpful. Talked to a human immediately instead of a machine. Highly recommend both the house and the rental agency.

Best House Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were extremely pleased with Shiloh. When we first arrived, the only unwelcome thing was the living room furniture. It was two small for the property and extremely uncomfortable. The TV was tiny for the room also. However, within the week the owners brought a new couch and love seat that were very comfortable. Also they brought in a 60" screen TV. What a difference that made! We had some light bulbs out, a gutter that had broken off in a storm and several doors that needed new knobs. The maintenance crew responded immediately and they were fixed in no time. The house was perfect otherwise with great dishes, utensils and cooking pots and pans. The guest bedrooms were beautifully decorated as was the master. Loved the views! Our only problem was that it was cooler than we had wished however it was the same everywhere. We bundled up and walked the beach anyway! Loved it and would love to come back.

This was our second time staying at this property and I am sure we will be back to visit again. Booking, check-in, check-out were all very simple. I received a couple of texts during our stay to be sure everything was going well and it was. The property is beachfront and as good as it gets. We swam, did some fishing, crabbing, and even night fishing- so fun! Sunrise and sunsets are picture perfect. The dolphins were out almost every day. The master is on the top level with a walk-out balcony and rocking chairs. There is an elevator to help with luggage, groceries, etc. It is a little ways from downtown Gulf Shores, but we don’t mind the 20ish minute drive to town when needed. Beach was never crowded. There is a Dollar General close by and Walmart does deliver to the house now which was great. So thankful for this experience with family. Thank you for a wonderful trip. I highly recommend!

Beautiful home! Big kitchen with lots of counter space. On the beach-couldn’t get closer! Walk off the back deck onto the sand! Beautiful view of the ocean from the house/porch area! Our group had 4 adults and 7 kids. It worked perfectly for us!

Family vacation

Great location! House had plenty of beds and bedding. Our biggest complaints are 1. No where to sit in master bedroom to watch tv… great room but no chair or couch which could be so much better,2. Outdoor furniture was broke! 2 wicker settee’s. Spend some and make it nicer. It’s such gorgeous view !

This is a Duplex

Overall, I will say that we were happy with our stay at the Shiloh DUPLEX. There were 12 of us total, 6 Adults and 6 Children (10 and under) and we had more than enough room, kitchen amenities, and enough hot water for everyone to get a shower. We started the trip without towels but the management team was quick to address that and gave us more than enough towels and we were very appreciative of the quick response. Our only frustration was what we felt like were some misleading things in the listing. One its never called out that this is a Duplex and not a House. No one was staying at the other side, so it was not a big deal but we specifically didn't choose other listings because we were under the impression we were getting a house. Also the boardwalk that is shown in the listing picture does not go with the house, it is the public boardwalk for the rest of the community. This led to a little bit of "competition" to set up a tent everyday early so that we were able to enjoy the beach in front of the duplex. That said we were only frustrated by these things because of feeling misled by the listing. The place was great, we enjoyed our stay and if we were okay with a duplex then we would definitely look at staying again.

We were pleased with the location and the roominess of the property. The pools were an easy walk away, and during our stay not too crowded. We did not find a pot big enough for a shrimp boil and don’t recall that there was a pizza pan, minor inconveniences that didn’t take away from the overall property. We would definitely stay here again. There were 6 adults and 5 children under 11 in our party.

Shiloh house is a duplex

We were taken off-guard at check-in to learn this property is a duplex. No where in the various VRBO property descriptions is this mentioned. Otherwise the property is as-advertised regarding rooms and sleeping accomodations. The “other side” of the duplex does not appear to be rented and was occupied by the owners, who were very nice. The driveway and parking area are nice and reasonably large. However, this driveway and parking space is shared with the owners and this is never mentioned in the VRBO descriptions. We had five vehicles and two boats. We worked it out to leave access for the owners and their guests, but again, based on the VRBO description, we were not expecting to have to share space. In the end, it was okay a mild inconvenience. However, am I the only one that thinks that this property should be advertised and described as a duplex?
