The White Sands Cottage is part of a quaint cottage community located on the hidden gem of the Fort Morgan Peninsula, by way of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Nestled away for privacy but with plenty of room for kids to play; this house has space for everyone. 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, and a screened-in deck overlooking the nature preserve. 2 pools and walking trails provide activity and views to rejuvenate and relax.

Why We Love It:

Only a quick jaunt from Gulf Shores attractions, this cottage is perfect for those who want the accessibility of town but with the reprieve that only Fort Morgan Peninsula can offer, as it uniquely sits along Mobile Bay and the endless white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. There are several local shops and restaurants close by, including the newly opened and already top location, Jessie's On the Bay! If you want more space to stretch out, easy access to the beach but less congestion of downtown, then this is the place for you!

Where You'll Sleep

The master bedroom has a comfy queen bed decorated beautifully with an en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.

The 2nd bedroom has a beachy/unique queen-over-queen bunk. Teenagers love this room and the private space. Also great size for those long legs.

The 3rd bedroom is wonderfully welcoming with two full-sized beds and an attached bathroom.

Kitchen and Dining:

Kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. The light and airy open-concept living and dining room has plenty of space for everyone to sit, relax, and enjoy their meals or even watch a family movie.

Private Deck:

Last but not least, the screened-in porch is everyone’s favorite! Listen to nature on the back porch and the crashing waves out the front porch. Truly, the best of both worlds. This cottage is at the end of a private drive, nestled right up against the nature preserve. Perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon sunset.

Cottage Community:

The Rookery III cottage community has low streetlights and no large buildings impeding your views of the black sky with bright stars! There are 2 pools, one with a zero-depth entry. Get away from the craziness that is the congested area of Gulf Shores and find peace on Fort Morgan.

Dogs Welcome:

Dogs are welcome. Pet fee is for one dog. If you bring two please add an additional 125This will be requested. 60 will be requested for parking.

The 2 pools onsite are open year-round but for those winter guests that want even more fitness activities, the Bodenheim rec center in Gulf Shores offers 10 a day pass to heated indoor lap pool, racquetball, track, basketball courts, & group classes.

We are on a peninsula surrounded by water, so please expect insects around Gulf Shores and the property. You are coming to experience the area and stay in one of the beautiful cottages; we cannot control anything beyond our service and inside the home.

Two pools available. You can walk the beautiful natural habitat we live in, which is just amazing! Ride your bike, go for a jog. Chase each other with water guns. Do whatever your heart desires. Just have fun! Trails for golf carts or just walk them.
