After travelling 24hrs, and a $140 euro taxi ride from Lamezia airport to Tropea Alla Corte degli dei Air BnB, to our shock my mom would have to climb over 40 stairs to reach our room!!! Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara

Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara

8/10 Good
"Family run hotel - so helpful and friendly which really made our holiday special. Never been on first name terms with hotel staff before ! But special mention to Martina, Aurelio, Fabio and Katrina 😀 (& Kevin on the Marlove boat) Hotel very peaceful as out of town. We walked into Tropea old town - it takes about 40 mins safely in daylight but can organise the hotel minibus pick up easily in the morning for evening return. We liked our room (no 9) with sea views and spacious although could have done with some drawers so we could properly unpack. Hotel restaurant great food and busy. Pool bar menu limited in day but freshly made. Pool not massive but also not busy at all in October, so plenty of sunbeds. Worth going to local beach Riaci - long steep walk so pay for the hotel minibus to take you there and back !"
