"My kids and I stayed at the Island at Fort Walton Beach for 5 days. They had a lot of fun events throughout the day to attend and the live music on the deck by the beach was great. The resort was beautiful! There were a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. We could walk to the Okaloosa Island Pier and the Gulfarium. We were also only a few minute drive to Destin. I had only two concerns: the resort charged an additional $30/per day resort fee at check out. So be prepared to be charged the additional fees. (The front desk staff were not all that friendly or very customer service oriented.) And the breakfast buffet "discounted rate" was $25.00 per person. The food was not worth $25. Other than that, we loved the resort and the time we spent there. We felt safe and the resort was clean and well kept. We would definitely come back! "

"I spent 2 nights here with my best friend for a birthday getaway and it exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of our stay was a 10 +! The front desk & housekeeping were all smiles at every interaction! Would most definitely recommend and I would stay there again if I am back in the area. "

"This was our second stay at Wyndham Gardens and we were just as please as the first time we stayed there. Absolutely love the cleanliness of the entire area; the rooms, the pool, the beach. The staff is very nice and helpful. Love the on-site restaurants. Highly recommended!"
