Very impressive hotel but adversely affected by first impression. The instant we walked into the hotel we were hit by a sewage like smell. This persisted here (and on first floor landing at lifts) for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately the entrance, lobby, bar and restaurant are in the same zone so we immediately decided against or drinking there.
The room was excellent. No smell here. Compact but the design layout was fantastic. Our small studio included a kitchen but the area is so rich with eateries that I would probably never use it.
Sleep quality was very good although the odd noisy motorbike was audible through the night.
The area suffers a large homeless problem. Be vigilant when outside.
