"Went with a friend for the Canfield fair, front desk person was very nice, even offering us each a complementary drink to go with the room. The rooms were nice and basic, as long as you don't mind a more low key and old school motel I'd say it's a great choice. The room and beds were clean, and again, for the price it is hard to go wrong. We specifically love the old school vibe of a local small motel so if you're into that, give the place a shot! The soap was the ONLY part I wasn't crazy about, but I usually expect almost all hotel/motel soap to be lackluster so I brought my own. It is fine for hand washing, but a nice lather is lacking in the shower."

"The hotel was very clean and a very nice property. However, when I booked our room I was expecting a restaurant nearby. It was closed for renovations. We ended up eating sandwiches from the nearby gas station. The website needs to be updated. Also, our room was out of shampoo and conditioner. We’ve stayed in places all over the country and even a dive of a motel had a coffee pot. I know it wasn’t listed as having one but it would have been nice. We were on the 2nd floor so I walked to the end of hallway where there were supposed to be vending machines according to the sign on wall across from our room. No vending machines and ice machine was out of order. Breakfast choices were good. I’m surprised that this place had no elevators being built in the late 1990s. Would we stay here again? Only if everything is working!"

"I was in the area for a tournament at nearby Mount Union, and needed a place to stay for the night. This place caught my eye with its unique concept. And I'm so glad I decided to book it. The BnB is VERY clean, and lots of amenities - water, local coffee, etc. But that's not really what you're reading this review for - so let me tell you about the GAMES. The sheer number of consoles and games for each will truly blow your mind. Atari, Classic and Super NES, 3 gameboys, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, GameCube, Playstation, PS2, XBox, XBox 360, Wii U, Switch 1 and 2, PS5, XBox X. I probably missed one! Not only do they have the crazy amount of consoles, the attention to detail is off the charts. Period-specific decor down to even the televisions (ah, the hum of a SONY tube TV when it turns on)! Full disclosure, I received some very bad news concerning a close friend before arriving at the unit. I spent most of the day feeling lost and rudderless. But when I entered the "Throwback Room" I was transported to some of the best days with my friend - playing PlayStation to the wee hours of the morning, not worried about college classes the next day. So that's exactly what I did during my stay. This place was the therapy I didn't know I needed when I booked it. Not sure if I'll ever be back in the area, but would 100% stay here again if I am. Thank you to the hosts for creating this vision and sharing it with others."

"Lovely place. They had all the amenities needed. The room was clean and check in was easy. It was very quiet and I loved how you got your own fire pit, and picnic table. The snacks/ drinks was an added perk as well. I will definitely be back."
