"A 30 minute drive from the Opren gate of Kruger Park and a good price/value considering other nearby accommodations are much higher priced. Seemed to be newer with a good air conditioner and was clean. This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. "We had a great stay at AM Lodge. Shepherd helped carefully coordinate logistics regarding pickups, meals, and even an excursion to Kruger National Park. Benjamin was an outstanding guide for our morning and evening game rides, looking for paw prints and signs taking us to lions, giraffes, rhinos, impala, zebras, and more - seeing animals up close was an amazing experience! Our accommodations (Superior Suite #8) overseeing the reserve had a phenomenal view of the river and nearby mountains. The outdoor patio was such a serene and perfect spot to relax during the day. Thanks to everyone at AM Lodge that made our stay feel special!"
