This was our second trip to the Russian River area and our first stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed everything about it. Its closeness to town/the river and a short drive to other places to see. The house was spotless and we had and plenty of room for 6 adults. The 3 bathrooms is a big plus! Loved walking every morning, so peaceful. My only suggestion would be to put window coverings on the bedroom windows, it felt a little to open to the neighborhood, especially at night but other than that, a perfect trip and we would rent again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This three-bedroom, three-bath Home nestled in the trees was perfect for our friends’ getaway. Allowed us space, privacy and proximity to redwoods and wineries. It was very clean and well equipped. The one addition I would suggest is the option of lowering bedroom and bathroom blinds.

Charming house in the Redwoods!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is tucked back in a neighborhood within Rio Nido with a nice walk if desired to the local restaurant and pub. The state park was also an easy 5 minute drive away and well worth it! The house itself is in great shape, we chose not to pull a car in the driveway luckily there is parking along the road. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows for more privacy.

Charming Wood Chalet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience in the woods and enjoyed the quaint setting within the Sequoias. The location of the home was a convenient distance to both the Pacific and the wineries. The home was comfortable and makes the best use of window to gain great views of the woods. We did have some difficulties with limited clothe storage and basically lived out of our suit case. Although this home has 3 bedrooms the closets within the ground floor bedroom were not available for our use. Lastly, the walk up the to the front door includes a 36 step climb and should be a consideration for those planning a stay.

Russian River Gem, almost...

Three of us enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Wood Chalet. It's a beautiful home with comfortable beds and good size bedrooms. Having three bathrooms was especially nice! The living space was comfortable and the hot tub was clean and bubbly! Some areas where the property manager/owners have had feedback but still need to be addressed: the house was 58 degrees when we arrived and took many hours to warm up. This was even after I read the reviews and asked for them to turn on the heat. We were uncomfortably cold. The driveway might be passable for an SUV or Subaru -- not for a sedan. It is short, but seriously steep and mossy. Since it was raining when we were there and we parked off the narrow street, it seems like the parking could use to be gravel; it was muddy and I did worry about whether the car would get stuck. We had some difficulty with the streaming service; very hard to navigate. I had to contact the property manager to get clarification on the lock box code. Finally, it's good to know that the Russian River is a bit funky and that is part of its charm. The home, while lovely, is on a street that my companions didn't love walking in. Everything is close by, and Guerneville is charming.

My family loved our stay at the Wood Chalet.. Every room feels like you are in a tree house (but with great beds), and the cathedral windows in the living area is magnificent. Not to mention to hot tub nestled in the majestic trees!!
