"Good location "

"The property was great. Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. And the views were incredible. Overlooking the green hills and up to center. Within a 30 minute walk to the center, though there are some narrow passages. Downgraded because the bed was very uncomfortable. The two twin mattresses forming the "queen" kept moving apart, creating a crater in the middle. Probably better for a single person."

"Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"The owner, Mr. Geo Gambacorta and his son Marco are very kind and helpful. Check-in went very smoothly. + Proximity to Santa Chiara basilica, you can easily take the bus to go aroubd Umbria or to the train station + kitchen is great, you can cook your own meals, it has everything needed, including all kinds of dishes and cutlery + terrace!!!! Amazing views of Assisi + tv in the room, nice window blinds + fully equipped bathroom, hot water runs perfectly - cleanliness of my room (no 2) was...

"An exceptional weeks stay in every way! Amazing balcony view, in central yet such a serene setting. Spacious and stylish. Michele is a kind, friendly and most helpful host making it a comfortable stay. Many places nearby for breakfast and stroll to either Cathedral or main piazza. A delightful place i would come again. "The room fantastic, the surroundings lovely and there is potential to be 5/5. However we had two problems body there made worse by temperatures close to 40C. When we arrived here was nobody there to receive us so we were stuck at the gate for 1/2 an hour until I got the attention of a guest by sounding the car horn. Guests finding a number and ringing on cell phones IS NOT an alternative to reception and for us from overseas not an option. Secondly the air conditioning only worked in fan mode...

"The room was new and beautiful, the location is great! The only reason for a 4 is it was a little funky getting into the property. It’s all used by an app to unlock the doors. We had trouble getting in, so we called the phone number provided only to be challenged by the grumpy guy on the phone. Once we figured it all out the stay was great. "
