There are better options out there

Very slow check-in due to incompetent staff (and the lack of a proper front desk). Spacious and quiet room, but just OK for the price. No black-out curtains. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Lift does not work. Remote area far from everything. No beach on premises. Bare amenities (just 2 small bars of soap). No hot water.

Muy deteriorado

Todo mal. El aire acondicionado botaba agua y mojaba todo el piso. Lo informamos y nunca fueron ni siquiera a revisarlo. Apartamento en muy mal estado necesita una remodelación urgente. El agua de la cañería y el baño muy dura no servia ni para bañarse.

todo bien, solo que el bano de la habitacion estaba muy descuidado en condiciones, el lavamanos y las duchas en muy mal estado, inclusive se veia ozidadas...esto no es bueno, no daban deseo de usarlo.. Agradecemos a Mariano las atenciones y sus buenos servicios todo el tiempo.

decent hotel for the price

Disappointed that the beach wasn't easily accessible or able to swim in. Loss of water and electricity at times. But location was good and grounds were clean and the pool was great! Staff were very helpful. The bar wasn't operable. The room was clean! But the price was unbeatable!! Would stay there again!

The cost, the hotel was not bad for the studio apartment rented. Juan Dolio is very hot during time of year and power was off every day for at least 2 to 3 hours. One the burner on the gas stove did not work and the AC unit went off for two days.

Beware of beaches on this coast

Chose this hotel because they said they had a private beach. They do but they did not mention the beach ends at a cliff about 10 feet where ocean smashes up against it. Beach is private - but forget about swimming or watersports. It is hazardous. Hotel is far from town, restaurants and night life - a weird place.

Very quite place

The hotel is a very quite place, not for party people. Swimming pool was clean. Room was big enough. There is no beach in the hotel nor around half a mile. Good to relax and forget about the city.

PESIMO ALOJAMIENTO POR CASI 80 DOLARES POR NOCHE

pésimo el alojamiento: la ducha con agua salada, la griferia antigua y deteriorada, en el baño caian gotas de agua del techo, el lavabo partido, no había casi señal de wifi, no había televisión, no había playa de arena en la zona del hotel era playa de rocas, no funcionaba el ascensor, el fregadero botaba agua, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien, la llave de la habitación no abria bien y había que forzarla para abrir la puerta, etc. etc. MUNCA MAS VOLVERIA NI GRATIS

Don't ever go here!

Horrible! Roaches! Dirty pool! No water to shower for 3 days! Elevator that doesn't work! No restaurant. Not Dominican at all, mostly Italians. Ugly view. WiFi never! No room service. Everything that was advertised is false. My birthday sucked! I went home disappointed and cheated. Pictures can be false. Better to pick from a chain of hotels. Comfort is important. Far from airport and anything.

Very bad

The a/c is not a/c is just a fan, i only was there one night i run away. The pool was empty, no water, i travel evry 2 month and i stay any place with a/c, water and internet. I realy slep with one eye open is a scary place, and kitchen apliance cover in dust and dark spots, go to another hotel for the price you will find better hotels in DR.

Worst hotel

Room did not have clean water. Water in the shower was salty. It is located 53 kms away from Santo Domingo. Taxi charged me 60 $ for Airport pick up. There is no beach, no restaurants near by. Only one option to eat in the restaurant. Never ever go there. Travelocity should remove this hotel from listing. I checked out next morning even though booked for two nights.

Hotel not good...

Service was not good, I was suppose to check in for 3pm.. I reach there at 3.45 and yet the room was not ready ..when it was time to go to the room it was small not enough space . The kitchen was filthy , the water was cold n salty, elevator was out of order and I was staying in the 3rd floor so we had to carry our suitcases ...I know I booked for the apartment room but it was not not nice. The pool was dirty , the breakfast included was horrible it was butter and bread , jam and bread with coffe or tea. The next day I left the hotel didn't like it at all . There were also dogs around by the pool and also by the garbage it was a mess after dogs were finish.

Don't go on weekends

I was disappointed in the buffet food overcooked and dry not very tasty. The Mexican restaurant was good. Look out for the weekends on Saturday and Sunday they sell day passes and it becomes very overcrowded
