Hyatt Regency Dongguan
We stay here often with our family. Great for kids. Safe, nice view of the lake. Staycation heaven. Otherwise, not much anything around. Huawei European Village is nearby by inaccessible to non-Huawei persons.

DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou Science City-Free Shuttle Bus Service During Canton Fair Period
Bit far from city but safe and quiet. Had a ftee shurlttle to and from fair. Restaurants were good buffet dinner on weekend were very full hard to find a table that was free. Decent place and price was good during fair.

If you're hoping to get in some sightseeing, Baoneng Guangzhou International Sports and Performing Arts Center and Luogang Xiangxue Park are top spots, and you can jump on the metro at Changping Station or Changping Subway Tram Stop to get around.
