"The stay was perfect for a very rainy weekend. The house was warm and comfortable for a group of 9. We had everything we needed to cook dinners and breakfasts. Great coffee set up. There are a lot of steps in the home which was good for many of us since we spent so much time indoors and going up and down the stairs made us move around. The stairs were difficult however, for the older members of our party. The split level home afforded great privacy and quiet which was great. We did find a short walk around the neighborhood with great views of the ocean. We drove to other places to actually hike and have beach access. The town of Gualala is a gem and we enjoyed a bit of shopping, good coffee, and yummy seafood. I wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor spaces, but the rain kept us in. We had a lovely time. Thank you hosts for all the amenities. "

"Room was clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, although spoke Spanish only. Host was very helpful and friendly. The staff alone were worth the price of the stay. Awesome view of the ocean. Walking distance to the store and the whole town, really. Just not when it's raining and windy. THANK YOU!"

"Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries "

"We had a wonderful stay at Timber Cove Resort and would absolutely return. Nestled along the rugged coastline, the property offers sweeping ocean views and a sense of calm the moment you arrive. It feels special without trying too hard. We stayed in a suite with a wraparound deck facing the ocean, and it was exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the views were truly unforgettable. Even though there was a big storm during our stay, we still caught some sunshine and even saw seals playing in the cove below. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt thoughtful and genuinely kind. I mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday, and the front desk surprised us with a small cheese plate as an afternoon snack, followed by celebratory glasses of wine at dinner. Lovely and unexpected. Overall, Timber Cove delivered a memorable, relaxing experience with excellent atmosphere, stunning scenery, and truly gracious hospitality."

"We loved staying here! Clean, cozy, and close to great coffee and Thai food. Diane and Damian were very friendly and welcoming. They heated up our room for us on a cold evening. We had to leave early but Diane brought over granola for us the night before so we could enjoy it for breakfast. Lovely hosts! "
