I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!"

I see from some reviews that picky folk might be bothered that the decor is not the latest, and the tv is CRT instead of flatscreen, but the basics are there: clean room, comfortable bed, etc. And while they didn't provide breakfast on-site, with the money we saved by staying here, we got a great breakfast nearby at Schat's Bakery (down the street, and another one in the Friedman's Home Improvement store). There are some nice choices...

"Overall a very pleasant stay. Hot tub and pool were a bonus. Rooms and furnishings were very well maintained so it’s obvious that the owners take pride in their hotel. I can’t think of any amenities that the higher end hotels offer that would beat this price point. Only obvious disappointment, which is petty, is breakfast area was small and with no scrambled eggs but otherwise a good breakfast spread."
