Very poor kept hotel. Everything is very dated and old. Rooms are not depicted properly in the photos. I recommend seeking alternate options

Great location. A couple issues the door did not lock unless you slammed it, sorry to my neighbor lol did not work any better after I reported it. I extended my stay 2 days took me trip 5 trips to front desk to confirm i can stay in same room and get new updated key card, apparently personal who do reservations only work periodically, was not resolved until i was locked out of my room. I have stay here many times and will in the future as i think this was just a 1 off and not the norm for this economical gem in centro.

The building has a lot of history and character and is convenient to the city center. The table in our room could have been wiped cleaner. The remote was not legible but I could trade it at the front desk for one that was usable. There was a bit of dust in the corners of the room. However it was spacious enough and met our needs.

A very convenient stay with excellent access to the Center Viejo! The long distance Camionera Central Nueva is now easily reached by the new electric Tren from the nearby Independencia station a short walk from the hotel. The staff was very helpful even adding an extra heater for the seasonal cold nights. There was also an extra blanket in the room which I added after the first night. I have stayed here years ago and this time I found a more modern, clean, quiet and relaxing place. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself was clean but very basic. Rock hard mattress with the worst hardest pillows ever imaginable. We were wormed by a tour guide and a cab driver how dangerous the neighborhood was. At night the square immediately outside the hotel is full of homeless people and drug addicts. In the day the homeless use the fountain to wash clothes and then drink and sleep. If you have kids or a family, or plan on being out past dark, do not use this hotel. I’m a tall big guy and I felt really unsafe. Pay a few bucks more for a hotel near the university or cathedral and be safe. Breakfast was 300 pesos which was just ok… better can be found in the site seeing areas easily I will definitely not return.

This hotel was an absolute gem! Close to the city center and staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was also very taxi & Uber accessible.

Muy buena ubicacion y las mucamas muy amables, pero si le hace falta que le proporcionen al huesped mas cosas! Se nos nego el hielo habiendo un calor! que por que no tenian , ni un refri, ni un microondas , y su respuesta era que no tenian...ahh no hay internet!!

My only complaint is 3 different days the maid woke me up banging on the door even when i had the do not disturb sign out. I think they just ignore the sign and do as they please, which is not customer friendly.

It was close to everything , beautiful property but Beds were very uncomfortable, cheap toilet paper, small bathroom, no fridge , Ac sucked . You get what you pay for ! Wouldn’t stay here again . I would rather pay more & stay elsewhere .

If you get a room facing the main street, don’t expect to sleep. There are bars all around blasting music till 3am. A/C could of been a lot better. No iron. No hair dryer. No fridge.
