The pillows are the body size pillows. We did not like them. The pillows need to be normal size. And there were not black-out shades. We had light in our room all night and it made it difficult to sleep. Our prior stay was much better than this one-night stay.

It’s closer and walkable to downtown. Staff are very friendly and check in/out was easy peasy. We rented a car and parking was easy accessible too. The room is clean with modern design bathroom and our favorite is their bed which is medium firm, just right with soft pillows.

Best hotel! Hospitality was very good, clean rooms, a/c, we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant or other services they offered but they were very helpful. Price is very very good! Very close to all the stores and cathedral.

The hotel is a great find and excellent price, right in the middle of the old part of Guadalajara. The rooms are small but very clean with nice amenities. The surrounding area is very dirty and more graffiti than anywhere else I've traveled in the world. And i live in LA! I was warmed not to venture out at night, and i would recommend the same. The on site restaurant is open 24 hours a day and has a nice selection of food to choose from. And the food is good! No need to go out after dark. The hotel is very nice!

Unfortunately I was not able to make it due to an unfortunate experience. I have been recommended this hotel before. Cassandra from the hotel called me and was very gracious. She asked me if I was going to make it. Unfortunately plans didn’t work out. I definitely will consider staying at Real Maestranza again. Thank you
