The Crooked Forest (or Krzywy Las, in Polish) is easily accessible from Dolna Odra station, near the city of Szczecin in Poland's West Pomerania region. Wander through the woodland among the tall, thin trees and find this fascinating patch of forest where all the trees grow at unusual angles from the roots (apparently due to having been cut in a certain way when they first began to grow).

Bare basic hostel rooms. No reception so getting anything was difficult. Rowdy noisy crowd stayed there. Shared toilets not clean.
